From their humble beginnings as a group of young, talented musicians with a dream, to their meteoric rise as one of the most beloved and successful bands of their generation, Three Dog Night seemed to have it all. With an unprecedented string of chart-topping hits like "Joy to the World," "One," and "Mama Told Me (Not to Come)," they were the kings of the airwaves and the darlings of the music industry.
But behind the scenes, a darker story was unfolding. Plagued by addiction, infighting, and creative differences, the band members found themselves in a desperate struggle to keep the magic alive. And as the pressures of fame and fortune took their toll, the cracks in the band's foundation began to show.
Now, for the first time, Chuck Negron takes you inside the tumultuous world of Three Dog Night, sharing never-before-told stories of the band's triumphs and tragedies. From the wild parties and backstage antics to the personal battles with addiction and the creative conflicts that ultimately tore the band apart, Negron holds nothing back in this raw and unflinching account of one of music's most enduring mysteries.
So sit back, buckle up, and get ready to take a wild ride through the rise and fall of Three Dog Night. Don't miss your chance to uncover the truth behind the music in "Chuck Negron Reveals Why Three Dog Night Split Up."

"Easy To Be Hard" was probably my most favorite song that Chuck used to sing when he was still with Three Dog Night. Such a great tune!
-
Out In The Country was one of my favorites. Came out about the time I started high school!
-
My favorite TDN song is and always has been "One". Negron's vocals are fantastic!
-
Undoubtedly, "The Show Must Go On", is my all time favorite, even when I was listening to it as a kid in Brooklyn.....and most of all because, "I wasted time, wasted, wasted time...." That one line still resonates in my mind several decades later. WOW! I can definitely relate to that! Not to mention Chuck Negron's powerful sounding voice! Thank you Chuck for putting out that song during one of my toughest moments as a lost kid in Brooklyn! I'm praying for you, & may you now use your gifted talents to glorify The Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

Seen Chuck recently @ a casino. He still has it. Hit all the notes. Sang All the 3 Dog Nights songs himself. Took pictures with myself and my girlfriend. He was a real nice guy, and great show 😊🎉

Chuck never said a word in this video.

'Never Been To Spain' changed my life, I'll be a 70s music lover forever. 💯

You forgot Paul Williams who composed Old Fashioned Love Song
-
Pieces of April and Out In The Country are my favorite songs.

I felt "joy to the world" by watching this. one of my favorite teenage bands. still love them to this day.

I loved ThreeDog Night. I was a little kid when they became famous. Just like the Beatles. I love Classic rock. From the 60s to the 80s. You know your getting old when the music you grew up with is now Classic! 😆
-
Negron's honesty about his own struggles and the band's dissolution offers a valuable lesson about the importance of balance, self-care, and seeking support in times of adversity.
-
I loved Three Dog Night And saw the group in person several times. I still play my vinyl. Can't name my favorite as I love them all.
-
This band's sound deserved more albums
-
Floyd Sneed was a funky and solid timekeeper. Drummers should take note. He always played for the song, never got in the way of those fabulous vocals, and played some of the tastiest fills when appropriate.
-
Three Dog Night was the first album I ever owned. I loved them-I still love them. ‘Play Something Sweet’ and ‘Sure as I’m Sittin Here’ are two great, not-so-well-known but awesome songs by them. I was actually able to see them in concert in a canyon outdoors. Magical!
-
I saw Chuck at a free concert in Woodland Hills CA in 2003. An amazing singer! What a show!
-
I read a book in the early 2010s called "Three Dog Nightmare," written by Mr Negron. I highly recommend it. Kathy
