hi there i have done a lot on seeing how to dry wood and there will be lots of us watchers give you there thoughts so you get mine too , the fan is good . the heat with a way to get rid of the moisture is good . so if you have a dehumitor would help lot . i have found wood dryes the fastest on low humidity days . the wood on the scales in the green house picks up weight on rainy days .you may be turning your garuge into a sona john
  • Might want to get a furnace fan it pushes a lot of air and a dehumidifier!
  • I see you are from Canada 🤙 Canadian here as well from Québec actually... So we need an update on that garage kiln did it work?? And also how is that hand doing?? Got a new subscriber here you take care 👍
  • Hi Dan, I think you will be able to keep a good temp in the garage but airflow is also important. A few large fans sure wood help circulate the heat too.
  • I know thw feeling of a firewood seller retiring.. I had one just a half mile from me do that early last year.. I have picked up a few of his customers.. 2 of them are returning again this year.. So I guess I am doing something right..
  • I would say to start out just try to get all the wood heated up. When the air becomes high relative humidity you need to ventilate. You should get a humidity meter with a needle. You probably do not need to get a sling psychrometer. The best time to ventilate is when the outdoor air has low relative humidity such as in the afternoon or on sunny days. That will be very difficult to heat up that much thermal mass with that small stove. Any kind of heating and any kind of ventilation will be helpful. Understanding what the dew point is will be helpful. The dew point indicates the amount of water in the air. The dew point is given along with the weather. Ask me if you have any questions. I think you should try to buy a 53-foot flatbed trailer loaded with dry wood from outside of your area and then charge enough to cover the transportation cost.
  • I think it would cost too much wood fuel to dry it out, camp wood pricing helps and hopefully you have ventilation. I think it has to be 200 degrees for 2 weeks

You will have to let us know how that works. Sales are good, just never no how much inventory to have on hand. Nebraska WoodSTR.
