Parents dropped the ball. They could have been better parents and protected them.
  • I also blame the parents, poor girls never had a. Childhood that they deserved
  • It's sad that there parents used them as babies too make money to support the parents and family. It's sad 😢🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Very sad story! They grew up way too fast in a crazy Hollywood world!!

I'm glad they have each other. Hopefully they can find peace and strength in each other.
  • I blame their parents, they should have worked harder to protect them and let them be just children. But it looks like their parents were the proverbial stage parents. So sad.
  • There are so many horror stories about child actors - very few reach adulthood as mature adults, they’re stunted in their growth. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. There are a few exceptions as they have a parent who is either an actor and stays with the child on as did Ron Howard’s father who was a professional actor & Ron’s acting coach on set.

They are almost 40 by now. They look so haunted.
  • Like Michael Jackson. No childhood, which is so sad and tragic ❤❤❤❤
  • I'm a twin myself and even though i never shot to fame like Ashley and Mary Kate, i didnt discover who i truly was until my father sent me to live with my mother in France. Once i integrated with the French, i realised that i was strong and that i had courage deep within me that enabled me to get my motorcycle licence and become independent in france. My life hasnt been easy but im glad i wasnt shoved into the spotlight like the Olsen twins. I hope they've found peace in life.
  • I always thought their lives were kind of sad. I loved watching their shows/movies, but I also always wondered about the stress that put on them (or any child) to be so famous at such young ages. I noticed in their photos, as they got older, that they looked very thin, which made me sad for them. I've always admired them as young actresses and entrepreneurs but wished the media would just leave them alone for a while! Everyone has a right to privacy and to just be themselves!
  • That's so sad. Their parents should have protected them better. Let children be children don't let them grow up to fast. I am mad at their parents.
  • I honestly wouldn't call it a tragedy. But fame puts people in a different place. Your viewed on a whole different scale. So Yes being child stars ✨ made there Journey in life different. But a least they found a way to focus what had with their future. So I see that as a accomplishment through a roller coaster of life. 🎉
