I'm moving out of my parents' house in 2 weeks, to a city 2000 km away. I haven't even told them yet; I'm so scared that if they say one discouraging thing I'll start panicking and not go. So I'll tell them at the last moment. This video is timely. I'll have faith (blind faith, really) in my ability to handle this.

my mission this year is to be brave. i realised recently that a coward was something I hated to think of myself as, but I was kind of acting like one. my main fear is of regretting a mistake i make, or a wrong decision. my inner critic is harsh, and it paralysed me. for me, the mantra of 'i will be okay after' is really 'i will be kind to myself after'. even if i make a mistake i deserve gentleness from myself. thanks for this video :)

As a person with anxiety myself, this is exactly it. Fake it til you make it. I talk myself through so many things that are "easy" for others. And sometimes, I find that I don't have to talk myself through certain things anymore because my body remembers how too.
