Also for those who do not know, minimalist is beating the game with a deck of 5 cards or less, and your starting deck is 10 (12 if you play silent), so basically for this to work I had to save all money for card removals in shops, get lucky with card removal events, get the empty cage as a boss relic (+2 card removals) at the same time as i get the right cards for it. basically a lottery lmao

For this video we went with a longer format, almost no cuts, I feel like it's more approperiate for a game like slay the spire, where context matters a lot. The edits are still there but we left in a lot more content than usual so they are just further apart. Probably only gonna do this for StS, but seeing as there will be more StS comming up, feel free to let me know how u feel about it compared to the usual format!

22:24 For those unaware, the drones prioritize high rarity cards in your draw pile when they steal your stuff. So. Yes, they will always try to steal "the best" cards. (However, you can sometimes use this against them by having situationally good rare cards in your deck like unupgraded wraithforms [and the like] where not having them in your draw is actively better [until you need them, and then you just kill the drone to get the card back].)

The most dangerous question mark events for this kinda run in the third act are actually more likely at the end too, not because it adds cards (only the "getting lost" event can add cards, but you can just lose max HP), but because it would have forced him to remove a card and fuck up his deck (the spirit fire and "break your fall" event are very likely to appear at the end of act 3) so who ever suggested that had done the right thing while still being wrong; tldr Typical Chat Be Like

Fun fact, once you beat Act III, you'd get achievements for any completed run, even if you die to the Elite or the Heart, it counts as a completed run

i want to thank you for this video and all of your slay the spire videos. youve gotten me hooked on this game and im 90 hours in already. keep any videos of any game coming, excited that youre getting into risk of rain 2, one my favourites! i managed to get this achievement today, but i used leap and all for one instead of glacier and scrape. it was a close call, couldnt have done it without this video as guiidance

Loved the video and the editing, but I wish there was more showing the tooltips of relics and stuff just to give people who haven’t played or watched very much some context, like on what the cage does for example

I just completed this run myself, but since I got Toke I was able to get a little more creative with it. I replaced Zap with another Claw + and that seemed to work a lot better for me. Also a shop in the second act just gave me the cards I needed to complete it at the same time which was kinda wild. Not to mention singing bowl, which helped out a lot with making up for not picking up other cards. I even got Orrery in the shop which gave me 10 max HP by itself
