when you try to prank somebody so they send you out of reality get nay nae'd

The scariest thing about this story is walking in wet carpet with socks on. I was the most uncomfortable thinking of that
-
Working as an electrician I now use these backroom stories to scare new helpers. It's eerie how many places we go to that actually end up looking like this
-
I really like the concept of the backrooms but the monsters are a little out of place. Would be much more interesting if it was just the never ending hallways and rooms.
-
I feel like nobody remembers the old idea for the Backrooms. It was much more eerie and creepy. Endless hallways that seem familiar to you with nobody to talk to and the feeling of somebody watching you.

I think all the dads who leave their homes to buy milk end up here and have a organisation set up.
-
I don’t think enough people know this, if your ever stuck in a maze, keep your left hand on the wall, and don’t take it off, it has worked for me in irl, and in video games.

When I was a kid I used to go to the Pediatrician and one of his rooms was painted this color. All the other rooms where white. But this one room was yellow. And for some reason he always put me and mom in that one. That room would give me small panic attacks and I had no idea why.

Easiest way to beat the backroom: dont leave the elevator
-
Casually yeeting him out of reality is one of my favorite elevator pranks.

I have been a security guard for many years in many different places. Imagines of “back rooms” instill a little fear deep down in me. I have experienced some of these images personally. Large abandoned office buildings, factories, oil installations, and a foreign embassy that was a NYC mansion. I saw no monsters but believe me I had that cautionary fear that these images bring back to me.

This was the first I’ve seen where y’all acknowledge that you have multiple writers and a team making these videos. Glad y’all actually tell people
-
Imagine making an escape room out of this
-
Moral of the story: don’t prank people
-
Constructive criticism: An “explained” video attempts to put a cryptic story into perspective using theoretical analysis or hypothetical conjecture. This video is not remotely that. It’s still a great video, but let’s call it what it is — a fan fiction set in the world of a known franchise. It’s a great story, and thank you for it, but this is in no way what we call an “explained” video.

5:30, looks like my dad when he’s angry. Bare foot, just comeback from work, socks left behind and belt in one hand.

Suddenly, he hears something- download a free audiobook with a 30 day free trial

This is like some Jigsaw trap, making Rob regret his past for pranking people

For myself, Backrooms videos feels familiar and unsettling because I've been in a few office moves after hours. I noticed immediately how unnatural and unsettling the office environment feels when there are no desks and it's night. Also, more and more retail is failing which leaves these foreboding spaces abandoned like dyeing malls open to the public but not a soul in sight. Its like when I walked into Fry's Electronics only to see shelves stocked with paper or Sears before it's closure. Its all these experiences that make the backroom seem more like our collective subconscious is telling us that the world we knew as a kid is going away. But, I know there is real lore surrounding the Backroom video but I remember my first impression.
