Unfortunately, they patched this, since the bazaar was re-enabled there has been a feature that stops you from underbidding to much on stuff like this (meaning that you cant put up a sell offer for like 10-20m if the buy price is much cheaper). While this does stop this method of irl trading, it means we cant abuse it for money 😔

I know I'm late but I noticed this happening months before the video, but I just assumed it was rich players who needed a lot of the item and couldn't buy from the npc cuz of the 10 stack limit, never occurred to me that it was irl traders. I remember carrots specifically spiking in price several times

Fun fact, this isn’t illegal, it’s just against their terms of service (TOS), and as such, the ‘abusive/disruptive’ behavior is subject against discord terms of service as well because of the nature of what it is, there is no risk in going to jail, just some lost time in an account(s) getting banned on hypixel/discord account(s)/server(s), this is a huge problem with other mmo games, and is subject to the same issues, people will keep doing it and will just find another work around.

You basically single-handedly deterred all IRL traders from using the Bazarre method

One thing that happened to me once was that one time i was looking for an item to flip and i found one selling for 1b+ a piece and tried flipping it but then it went back to its normal price. Was quite one of the most interesting things that i saw happen.

So as soon as this video went live, the bazaar got reworked and you can no longer list items for super high on the bazaar. Apparently, the method is still feasible (but harder to do). I'm investigating it currently. Still, it's a crazy story and you can just skip the tutorial from 12:27- 13:15

I was gifted a good amount of coins(i dont remember how much exactly but was something like 40m i believe. it was way below what we were making from netherwarts daily but free coin is free coin so ofc i accepted) when the anniversary cakes was going around. A few days later that I got banned and my island, coops and everything was completely purged. After that I tried to appeal for the ban I recieved and asked for a restore, obviously.... They told me that they do NOT restore no matter the reason but they unbanned me. So the aftermath was: I lost my skyblock island that was from 2019 and all my precious items. My account was absolutely maxed and I had about 50-100 or more sets of exotic armors. I'm not angry about it anymore since I do not play and do not care about skyblock but it was so disappointing that I couldn't even get a restore even though I was banned just because I accepted a random gifted coin.

The fact how that one dude had 2 intelligence was crazy. Smartest IRL trader.
