The cricket not singing is probably referencing the fact that Alicent no longer has a voice in the small counsel. And did anybody else notice how Gwayne, who was initially so full of life and ready to ride into any battle is now also stricken with PTSD and seems trepidatious about being sent out again now that he's seen what dragons can do?

On the love triangle, we see a couple who has clearly lost the love. So much so D leaves her high and dry. When is the last time the Queen has been touched let alone In a way by someone she sees as an equal. In this scene both characters see themselves as equals and when they do they feel free and empowered. Emotions running high is perfect.

No one deserves Harrenhal more than Daemon, I'm loving this lil vision quest for him, it's good medicine.

I couldn't help it... When Seasmoke started chasing Addam off the beach and into the woods. I knew he was gonna bond with the dragon, so there wasn't any suspense for me there. They telegraphed it during earlier episodes. I am disappointed that they merged Baela and Nettles though. Will she bond Sheepkiller next episode or the finale? Rhaenyra and Mysaria caught me off guard. I was like "Oh! Female friendship! That's so sweet! We need some of tha-. Oh... They're smooching... Well... Okay then." That Allicent was surprised when she was kicked off the Green Council... Dumb of her. Is Alys trying to make Daemon a better person? Greenseer therapy?
