On defense, Carlitos has an uncanny ability to anticipate where his opponent will hit the ball. At the speeds they are hitting and running, he is only able to return the ball because he headed in the right direction before his opponent even hit the ball. On offense, his placement of the ball in his opponent’s court is eerily precise. And he is incredibly consistent at both these skills.

I just saw him crush Zverev in Madrid. Zverev, Tsitsipas and Medvedev are already having nightmares with Carlos. And he's just getting started. He is insanely good. Like I keep saying, he is taking tennis to the next level of ultimate power, efficiency, while also doing it in a very esthetic and flashy style. He seriousness, work ethic and consistency are Big 3 material and he is the only player we can say that about. He has the whole package. Roger's deadly forehand and drop shot, Rafa's phenomenal endurance and resilience, Novak's outrageous defense and mental strength and he will just turn 20 this week. I keep saying he is like a hybrid of the Big 3, which is just insane. It's scary to think about how he will play at 24-25. Provided he more or less injury free, he can get to 20 GS won and maybe even beyond, considering he's got another 15-20 years left to play in the ATP tour.

A point that I haven't seen mentioned enough, is how good Alcaraz's anticipation is. Watch especially when someone tries the drop shot against him. By the time the ball is still coming off their racket, Carlos is already in motion forward. Yes, he is ridiculously fast. But he is also combining superb footwork that keeps him balanced toward moving any direction and reading his opponent's shot almost before they have decided on it.
  • All I gotta say is: Man, please let this guy and Sinner stay healthy...we need this!

He just bloody won Wimbledon 🎉🎉🎉 Amazing player on all surfaces.

As italian, I say this guy is incredible. Not only does he look more complete at his age than any of the big 3, but he also gives a different vibe. We're probably going to witness something really special. Spanish tennis tradition is getting more and more crazy

He’s bought a whole new level of entertainment to tennis with pure athleticism. Others have done it but not quite like him with the way he moves and combined with the skillset he posses, it makes him just so exciting to watch. AND HE’S JUST 20😳
  • He is the triple combination of the best, he has the Federer's natural explosiveness and creativity, the Nadal's mental toughness and bravado, the Djokovic's resilience and flexibility ,Carlos is the whole trinity in the tennis world.
  • @lovadesi
He chases down every single point just like Nadal when Nadal was his age. Hope he will stay healthy throughout.

OMG I just adore this kid, I have to brave the heat of our Australian summers, I need to see him play live, at least once in my lifetime!! Carlos Alcaraz is a once in a life time phenomenon, many have gone before him & he has learned from all of them, he is a sensation, so young, so incredibly skilled & talented, & still so humble, not an ounce of temper or foul language, this kid is destined for greatness. And to his coach for moulding him bravo to you Juan Carlos Ferrero 👏 👏👏 what an incredible job you have done to date, I look forward to your partnership for many many years to come, you represented everything tennis should be. Felicidades estrella y creador de estrellas 🏆🏆🏆
  • This guy is just out of this world! We thought we wouldn't be seeing guys as good as the Big 3 any time soon. But Alcaraz is already proving us wrong.

Love this compilation so much, I even got teary-eyed there a couple of times. Just imagine the feeling of being 18-19 years of age and already having entire stadiums full of spectators on their feet applauding and clamoring for you and cheering your every winning shot. Imagine what that must feel like! 99% of us will never know that feeling. This kid is becoming legendary before our eyes and is already on a first-name basis with the public at large. Add to that the fact that he has such elegant flare and is a natural-born entertainer and you got the makings of an all-time legend. He'd have made quite a bullfighter with all that natural flair and bravado he possesses.

When Carlos played Novak at Wimbledon, if I'm right, he said he didn't think he could win. I felt he played some of his tennis as if he were the student playing his mentor. Now that he's won, his confidence level will rise and he'll be even more dominating. And he's still open to improving. Dangerous combination already being world #1 at 20.
  • @belmon38
He is 20 years old but if he would stop playing tennis now we would still have some of the best points in history. A real talent and great athlete.
  • @SMNtheNight
How old is this kid again? We're already seeing Fed-like shots, Nadal-like shots, Djokovic-like, Murray-like shots, and new things never seen before... you gotta be kidding me.
  • @juliannelson3211
Taking the sport to a level we haven't seen before. His court coverage and athleticism is unmatched. Even Djokovic falls short.
  • @rt09pachuau21
His strength, speed, timing and dexterity is just top notch👌
  • @cutidowny4118
Not a tennis fan but definitely a Carlito fan . First time in 50 years I've yelled loud watching tennis and his incredible control.
  • @waqasshahid4484
Some of his movements resemble Rafa so much... The inside out forehand, the passing shots... This kid is going be my new fav after Rafa is done.
