RULES
1. You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in each route or area
2. If a Pokémon faints, it is no longer usable and must be permanently deposited in the “RIP” box for the rest of the adventure
3. If you lose all your Pokémon in a battle, you can continue the Nuzlocke challenge using living Pokémon from the box
4. If you run out of living Pokémon from both party & box, the Nuzlocke challenge is LOST
CLAUSES
*TERA CLAUSE enables one additional "glowing" encounter and one additional raid encounter per route
**STATIC ENCOUNTER CLAUSE means any static or gift encounters will count as additional encounters and are completely legal, even if obtained in an area where you have already had an encounter
***DUPES CLAUSE means if you encounter a Pokémon from an evolution line you already own, this does not count as your encounter, and you are permitted to continue searching for an encounter in that area
****FIRST BADGE CLAUSE means the Nuzlocke challenge comes into effect after you have obtained the first gym badge
*****SHINY CLAUSE means regardless of the rules above, if you encounter a shiny Pokémon of any kind, you are permitted to catch and use it
