You would think that with the amount of resources that are dumped into NFL organizations and, subsequently, their stadiums—that the fields would be state of the art.

But not all stadiums are created equal—not just when it comes to the amenities, but also, shockingly, the playing surface itself.

In fact, there are quite a few that really leave a lot to be desired—that the players absolutely hate to even step foot on, lest they risk serious injury on an unsafe surface.

Let’s take a look at the 10 Fields that NFL players hate to play on the most and why.

FedEx Field is like the Bermuda triangle for ACL injuries
  • Another point on Arizona's field. Remember that Kyler Murray suffered his ACL injury on that field in a home game against New England, and it was a non contact injury.
  • I was born and raised in Colorado Springs (6,103 feet above sea level). Been a Broncomaniac since 1977. And I have to say, the field at Mile High today is much worse than the the old stadium. They had real grass at Mile High till the new one opened. Now we have whats called PAT. Prescription Athletic Turf. And it is credited in the anals of Bronco Lore for the career ending injuries to Terrell Davis, Steve Atwater and others.
  • When you see players moving slower and not as agile as they usually do we now know why cause of all these messed up fields, it’s crazy owners don’t fix their field I’m sure they aware of the stats we’re getting now
  • Philadelphia had the worst reputation back in the day. They used "AstroTurf". I always got nervous when the team of my youth had to go to Philly. Da Bears. I don't really have a team anymore. I just root for players. My new favorite is Jalen Waddle because he does a waddle touchdown dance.
  • Lambeau Field in Green Bay is one if the worst fields for players to play on. And then again, just like the Linc and Lumin field, it’s rambunctious during home games.

The fact that even newer stadiums are having issues with their playing field is absolutely criminal. How do you mess up the playing field of all things while making a new stadium? That’s utterly embarrassing

I really like how after the intro, Jason Kelce just straight up says, "I know that the New York field at MetLife that's one of them" perfect way to start a video

I’ve never heard any player or coach talking bad about playing at the linc, quite the opposite
  • @h2fluff302
I know after a while acrisure/heinz field used to get beat up a lot especially when they had high school playoffs pitt panthers football and steelers all within the same weekend
  • As an Eagles fan watching my record setting pass rush struggling to get solid footing in the Super Bowl i hate the State Farm Stadium field.

It’s gone now but Oakland Colosseum when the diamond was on the field looked like the worst.
  • Do a list of nfl stadiums ranked by how each nfl stadiums future plans or non plans stand against other nfl stadiums
  • The Niners played back to back at MetLife. Giants and then Jets. It ate them up.
  • The worst was Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. Ended Wendell Davis ' career.
  • MetLife has scarred me as a Niner fan. I think I am entitled to financial compensation
