This felt like a big moment, so we just had to put Josh Miller, CEO of the Browser Company, on camera.

I like this trend I think Nothing started, of CEOs being transparent and showing that they care about what the community is saying and how they get improve their products.

I switched over to Arc last year and haven't looked back. And, to be honest, I didn't really think it would be a game-changer like it is. Love it and look forward to the weekly updates and behind-the-scenes videos.

"Hope he doesn't have an android" That's probably my biggest pet peeve for app developers. 75% of the market is Android and some will essentially just treat it like that market doesn't exist. Negative points for that one.

I’m not joshing here; I’m moving to Arc due to this video. The CEO’s reactions are so genuine feeling and the fact it’s endorsed by MKBHD and his team without sponsorship is just icing on the cake. Excited to be using Arc!
  • @lucymorrison
the funny thing is, even the way they describe Arc makes it sound really awesome, and they barely scratch the surface of what it's actually capable of
  • @harrydsgn
frankly, as somebody who uses Arc for very similar ‘light user’ reasons to David, that awesome thing about Arc is that it feels like something that’s actually made for human beings lol. Hard to pitch to a very tech-centered crowd on that alone though.

CEO: "Hope he doesn't use an Android phone" Every State on the planet not in America: 😒
  • @TechOutAdam
This is so dope. We need more transparency like this. Imagine if Tim Cook or Craig Federighi reacted to tech reviews?
  • Hey Josh and the rest of the Arc team. I absolutely love Arc and am using it everywhere I go. I understand that with your Swift-everywhere approach, Android might be hard, but not having at least some way to sync my tabs over to Android affects me daily. Global mobile market share says that Android is the dominant mobile platform, so not having any support there will really constrain your growth. And the tension here will grow exponentially when you put out the Windows release
  • Just watched this video and instantly joined for the waitlist. I love how enthusiastic was this . I can definitely feel the excitement and love for what you do even from the screen. I am currently getting trained on CS, i hope some day our paths gets crossed.

I am a fan of this recent 'trend', of smaller tech companies having this kind of transparency and 2-way dialogue with both their users, and the larger community surrounding their products and services. I know it's a lot to ask of companies, but I am personally a huge fan when companies are up front like this. Great work Browser Company. Love what you're attempting in the browser space, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. 🙌
  • You guys deserve the attention you're getting, I've fully switched to Arc the day I downloaded it because of how innovative it is in comparison to something that was in complete stagnation, the browser. Beautiful work.
  • I came over from mkbhd’s podcast and wanted to see your reaction and at the same time add insights to what arc is. At this time I mainly have my daily tasks in my iPad Pro and would love to see or even beta test the Arc Browser for iPadOS. I have a windows laptop too but since the iPad Pro is more portable I put most of my tasks here instead of my laptop. Looking forward to trying this out!
  • @brycejn
Switched to Arc on my Macbook and cannot wait for iOS and Windows versions to be released so my whole life can be through it. Notion and you all at the Browsing Company have restored my excitement in the tech industry that I had growing up. Pure delight!
  • @frankdot.1864
Arc spaces + key board shortcuts + the COMMAND BAR (Cmd + T) = Top 3 Game Changing Features I actually look forward to opening up Arc and separate all my interests into separate spaces, dividing my tabs into its appropriate topic. My search experience definitely feels a lot smoother and more intuitive now🙌🏽
  • Just got into arc. Doing the reaction video was genius. Just makes everything feel real.
  • @enook
Arc is such a magical browser, and I really hope it becomes more widespread and continues to add incredible features! :D
  • Keep up with the good work! Can't wait for the mobile, windows and linux versions!!!
  • @ogidy001
This video was enough to make me sign up for the waiting list. Well done on coming up with something that looks genuinely innovative in a pretty mature and saturated space.
  • Loved this video, great from a marketing standpoint. Loved the openness and personal touch, excited to try the product 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
