My father heard this and said he didn't remember hearing this particular song back in the late 60's when he was in his early 20's. He was surprised to know that the lead singer - Kevin Parker - is even younger than I am. That's how good these guys are; my dad thought they were an old psychedelic 60's band that he'd forgotten about during Woodstock.

Man the drummer Kevin Parker is so good. I also love their guitarist Kevin Parker, but while the bass is pretty good and Kevin Parker is very talented. The vocals by Kevin Parker are the best part by far

I love how the bass and drums thud along like it’s an elephant walking

Tame Impala is so good, Kevin Parker’s decade old songs get covered and they get #1 in the hottest 100.

The music video looks exactly how I thought it would look after hearing the audio. Something infectious about that bassline. We don't need choruses when the bassline hits THAT GOOD
  • saw an old guy throw a pool ball into someone’s head in a bar today and they were playing this song

The Rickenbacker guitar and the Hofner bass are just a wonderful delight haha

Really heavy bass is what makes this song rock.
  • This song was an experience live! Loved it! It felt like a psychedelic dream. Best show I have ever seen live!

Sounds like if zeppelin and floyd came together and got John Lennon to sing
  • What's so cool about this, is that this song is around 15 years old and they just started using it for a car commercial! Classics never die! They live forever!
  • This is sick as hell. Like their newer stuff is great but this is a instant classic. What a gem

Great to see someone like Parker to recreate the psychedelic music of the 60s I grew up with. Parker is a musical genius to blend so many diverse sounds.Really mind bending.

It's like John Lennon was resurrected and featured as a surprise celebrity at a rave concert..priceless

The first time I heard Tame Impala was 2015. Elephant was on the radio. I assumed it was some John Lennon deep cut I had never heard. I pulled over and googled "John Lennon elephant song" and then laughed my ass off when I learned it wasn't him. Then I discovered one of my favorite bands ever.
