I would love to see you do this with a dog that's actually pulling. This dog is already very well behaved.

These videos are always shown with already trained dogs…I want to see one where the dog never stops pulling right from the start lol I didn’t know leashes get loose
  • "start with a loose leash" Ha! The leash has NEVER been loose. He has pulled every instant!
  • My dog pulls constantly. There is never any slack on his leash. He pulls in five different directions at the same time. Lol

Once again you nailed it: this is another great video that I can recommend to my own training clients. I love that you mention the gentle leader and how easy it is to transition a dog from the head collar back to the buckle collar. Thank you so much for making these great videos! ❤️🙏

Thank you so much for making these videos. I am getting a puppy soon and i need to prepare myself and many many of your videos, i mean i have been watching your videos for at least 3 hours trying to learn about puppies needs and wants. I recently bought my dog a 15' leash. It helps a lot. I can let him get some space from me when he's off sniffing and then when we start to walk again he comes back to heel position relatively easy because I let him do his thing.
  • Perfect timing! I'm a petsitter and have a st Bernard rescue. He is extremely strong and pulls all over. I was looking for dog training to add to my skills. Collar and leader!
  • I love it when you see a dog learning something in just a few minutes and keeping up the routine makes life so much easier. Yet some of us took on a rescue dog. We get frustrated and upset with the dog and start looking through training videos trying to find the one that works. Then you realise what you really took on with the rescue dog. For example, I have two rescue dogs, and walks on leash are painful. One dog walks incredibly slow and the other believes he's in a sled dog race. I say heel and the slower dog goes even slower. How slow, I'll explain. We get in the gate of the dog park, do two laps and the slow dog is only just ready to stop sniffing, pissing, eating grass and ready to head off. It's mortally painful. Both dogs won't change, they modify but stay the same. Corrections sometimes make the dogs worse, especially if they are new and have been bullied by humans.

I hate ' pros ' who say ' dont pull on the leash, have a calm leash ' yeah but if we are here its because our dog is a formule 1 and pull all time xd

This video was amazing! Thank you so much. I immediately changed the thinner collar I had on my dog and put the other steps into place. Walking with my puppy was seriously a nightmare and I would come back exhausted and frustrated every time. Now I'm even impressing the neighbors! It's been helpful with treats to help with distractions. After a few weeks, we did a short jog with no treats and puppy was great!!! Thank you!!
  • I am finally getting my puppy not to pull and look at me. Still have learning to do but coming around. Thank u for the informational videos.

You folks always present really nice content! Wish this video was done with a dog that was actually pulling the leash consistently and then you guys helped with remodeling that behavior... Keep up the good work!
  • @dfgmavis
Thanks for demonstrating with some perfectly trained dogs.
  • @leahlonih7461
I already liked the way you started this video, adjusting the leap position to going in w more of a heel position! Nice.
  • Always in these guides as a dog is calm anyway. Sometimes make a video where you’re trying to get Toller to be pulling.

Y’all are very helpful!! My Border collie, Aspen, has trouble with choking while we walk. I make sure her collar isn’t too loose and isn’t too tight but she still chokes. I can’t think of what I’m doing wrong. I get very discouraged when it happens. You guys have been very helpful to me in my training, and I wish I’d known about you guys when I first got my puppy!! Love your dogs and love your training tips!! You guys are amazing!!
  • @LamaMama26
Thank you I am excited to practice these tips!
