I remember being given my first car. It came "some assembly required". I spent the summer before I was 16 building the car with my dad. He wouldn't touch anything unless i was there to help, or watch. It gave me a whole different level of appreciation for the car.

I love how she was totally appreciative and very thankful. I've seen hoochie mama's or spoiled kids complain that they wanted a different car or a more expensive car. This right here is a good young lady.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to give your kids what you had to work for. You can tell they raised her right by her gratefulness and response.

She’s grateful. My parents didn’t buy me a car, but they would have if they had the money. The did offer to match the amount I saved up for a car, so that was so kind. Parents want the best for the kids. Especially girls driving alone at night. You don’t want her in a really crappy car if you can help it.
