Please write to support at fx airguns and report this. I did the same thing because my bottle literally blew off after 2 weeks (new Maverick) when unscrewing it. The shop where I bought the Mavreick send me a new bottle adapter and then it happened again when I took the bottle of for the 2nd time when I was tuning my Huma regs. I can assure you . . . I know pretty well what I'm doing so I will not accept the "user error card". This is a design error, period. Huma Air said the same thing. The threads on the bottle connector/adapter are simply to short and made from the wrong material. The carbon bottles have steel threads. Most people know that alloy and steel never go well together under pressure. This must be redesigned before real accidents happen. The bottle adapter must be made out of stainless steel , the threads should also be twice as long preferably, but that renders a lot of bottles useless. Send FX a mail my friend, everyone should do this.
