in Germany we call it "Musikantenknochen" (musicians/minstrel bone) because of the "humming" when you hit it :-)

So like if you move your elbow a lot because you play tennis a lot, which is probably why they call it "tennis elbow"?

I had a reconstructive Back surgery when I was 17. Sometimes when my neck is in a lot of pain I can feel the nerves from my neck down to my fingers not quite as severe as when you hit your funny bone but it will last for days on end similar to when somebody has sciatic nerve pain. And if you take a look at my pic I recently broke those titanium rods in my back LOL

Well explained Katie! I've been learning about nerves in the Human Body Systems paper I'm taking and it's very interesting stuff. Nice pun too, very humerus indeed.

Well I certainly learned something new today! Had no idea there was a syndrome that one could have where they get that feeling all the time. That would be terrible!
  • @danbowes
It wouldn't be "humorous" lol. Nice joke, I get it 🤣

A few years back my motorcycle high sided me and when I landed from about 10-15 feet I landed in my knees and elbows damaging the bursa pads. Now the funny bone is triggered even if I'm sitting still. 😫
