Willie Nelson is 91 meaning that the events of the epilogue take place only 26 years before he was born
-
"Some trees flourish, others die. Some cattle grow strong, others are taken by wolves. Some men are born rich enough and dumb enough to enjoy their lives. Ain't nothing fair. You know that." -John Marston.
-
"I want to be buried towards the west so I can see the sunset and remember all the good times we had together" -Arthur Morgan

It’s a beautiful song Willie really makes think of Arthur and John. Outlaws to the end
-
God by the end of this game I felt like I knew these characters all my life. Arthur is the first fictitious character I've ever truly mourned. Sure ive been sad watching a movie where someone passes, or played a game with a tragic death. But with Arthur I grieved his death like he was a good friend. Currently on another play through, though it took a couple years for me to come back. We're taking our good old time

I’m naming my son Arthur...

R.I.P. Arthur Morgan (1863-1899)
-
If you pay attention to the lyrics, the song connects perfectly with John Marston
-
Willie has a very warm and inviting voice. Love it. 27 September 2023

I missed this track by returning to Pronghorn Ranch to shave and give John his classic look.
-
Rest in peace, Arthur Morgan, everyone's favourite Boah!
-
After the traumatizing previous chapter, this was a nice, cathartic song to listen to as I rode into town to get the loan for Beecher's Hope.
-
The legendary Willie Nelson is an icon for singing on RDR2.
-
Everytime I hear this I cry, it just perfectly encapsulates John's journey. Especially the line "I know now that I'm homeward bound" because it has such a sad sense of foreshadowing to it

My friend will be leaving for college very soon, (I am much younger) we used to play red dead online all the time together. Me, him and a ton of other people. We rode together, hunted together, fought griefers together, moonshined together and had fun together, the numbers quickly faded down to only me and him. now that he is gone, I do all that alone. Every time I think of this song it reminds me of the fun times I had with him

I love Willie Nelson!
-
My old friend, Arthur Morgan. Rest in peace my partner, rest in peace.
-
Good Ole Willie Nelson. Fitting that one of the last real Outlaws of Country music would have a song in RDR2. Raise a shot for the Red Headed Stranger himself.
-
I first heard this from RDR2 and was shocked to hear Willie singing at the end made it even better.

Legendary man, legendary game, legendary song! Shout out to Josh too. MY MAN!
