So glad these are being uploaded as the complete marathons with moving images. Monster Madness is my favorite thing Cinemassacre puts out, and I love watching them all together. The Sequel-a-Thons are some of the best!

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein was a guilty pleasure when I watched it in the 80s as a kid.

6:40 - FINALLY, I’ve been looking for this particular clip for YEARS now. I remember there being a mention of the “In the Name of God” part of this scene, but couldn’t for the life of me find it in any of the Monster Madness video’s prior to this! Glad this compilation was released when I needed it the most.
  • I watched it back to back Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein I've seen it many times growing up I'm 57 but that is by far one of my favorite old school movies

It's worth noting that Terry Pratchett plays on that "using the same actor to play different mad scientist assistants" strangeness with his Clan of Igor's. They're all named Igor. They all look mostly the same.

maybe its called frankenstins bride cuz "frankenstien's monster's bride" just didn't quite sound right lmao

This was a good year also. Loved the Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street segments.

The Sequel-A-Thons were by far my favourite of the bunch. James must have busted his ass working on these for an entire year because they were the most detailed videos yet and there was one for every single day.

I think that it's easy to think of the monster as the offspring of Doctor Frankenstein. His name would also be Frankenstein. Only we call Bizaro, Bizaro. Bizaro calls himself Sooperman.
  • @nesenda
I would argue that the monster is the doctors son, and that since his LAST name is Frankenstein, that makes the monster a Frankenstein

Hammer's Dracula has more weakness than a normal human...
  • I like to think 'Wes Craven's New Nightmare' is a direct sequel to 'Dream Warriors' and Nancy is living in a dream limbo.

I’ve never heard anyone mention it but I think the reason fritz was so cruel to Frankenstein’s Monster is because after Frankenstein exhibited his excitement towards the monster after he created it caused Fritz to see The Momster as a replacement for him, a replacement in the hiearchy in Frankenstein’s mind.
  • @Tanookicatoon
Nobody ever got that the monster is Frankenstein's son, so his last name is Frankenstein too.
  • @RickTBL
The name Igor was around LONG before Young Frankenstein. I think it was used in several satires, or cartoons.
  • That scene in Dracula with the curtains in ' horror of Dracula 'is my favorite scene in early horror movies ❤😂😂😂🎃

You can argue that the monster is Frankenstein. Dr. Frankenstein created the monster, so he could be considered his father. And when you’re the son, you take the father’s last name which is Frankenstein.
