There's also the theory that halt is guiding light when guiding light loses control of himself, that's why the lights flicker more since guiding light is trying to regain control. also the fact that when your screen flashes turn around guiding light still has some sort of control over himself. The reason halt doesn't spawn as often is because guiding light does not lose control of himself often, but when it does happen it's constantly trying to win back control.

A BIG THEORY is that when we spawn we see a broken bridge like the one from A-1000. As MatPat said that bridge is used to travel to other worlds like ours, THE DOORS WORLD, rooms, and many more! I think someone found that bridge and traveled to DOORS and knows even if he dies he can't escape that world unless he goes to A-1000! But he has to find the right door... Was it a good theory? I spend like 20 minutes trying to find that theory so correct me pls!

I have a theory for Jeff: He was trying to save up for college (like he does in the game) but had to travel during the process and ended up at DOORS. When he went to to the lobby, he was confused as to why there was nobody there. He eventually made it to Door 50 (Library) and as he was about to exit, Figure killed him and Jeff was gone. Guiding Light told Jeff who he died to [this was when most of the other entities existed btw] and felt Jeff couldn't die so harshly while doing something he actually wanted to do [saving for college]. So, Guiding Light decided to "Revive" Jeff and turn him into what he looks like today and made him the room he exists in. [So yeah that's my theory for Jeff It's kinda bad but I felt like I could share a possible theory]

the claw marks are made by dupe, along with the destroyed rooms. the meat could be player flesh that he eats when he doesn't kill you. proof=look at the doors logo for hotel plus. it shows dupes face and a black hand with 3 claws.

The candle and the crucifix don't work in rooms, I think beacuse the candle and crucifix have connection with the guiding light (when they are active, they have a same colour), but in rooms is curious light, so maybe if the crucifix and cande have a connection with curious light, they will work in rooms.

the meat being figure actually makes sense due to how in the rooms where there is mystery meat, you are able to find claw marks on walls, broken windows and moved furniture which figure could do

I have a theory, so you know how in some places the rooms are destroyed or something? Well since MatPat said that this was placed in the 1940's (WW2) then during that, the WW2 people probably destroyed some rooms of the hotel we are in. i always thought the meat was related to figure, same colour, they can be seen near each other at door 100, the figure LITERALLY EMERGES from a pile of it at the top of the stairs during the cutscene.

My theory:doors was a normal hotel and they were partnershiping rooms.Bob was the manager for rooms and joseph was the manager for doors hotel.there was a experiment on another place that was created by flesh meat,bones,and hair.the hair was lost but they accidentally put it on the hotel.40 days later a entity came out.people were calling it figure.the experiment also has black goo and a lost human missing eye.people named the black goo entity seek.But seek has a baby octopus in his mind.Then it became real.and it’s allergic to light rooms.Then figure killed the people then broke door 50 door and he liked the place so he lived there.somone who’s favroite colour black and smileing slowly transformed into rush (5 likes for part 2)

I don't know how to relate it: In the lobby, outside the door that is behind you there is a bridge that looks a lot like the one in A-1000, from rooms.....

One of my theories about the "Mystery Meat" or "Festered Meat": So yeah, Figure is possibly made up of it, but what if there are 2 Figures? Figure could have been formed TWICE and the 2nd Figure makes sure you don't get past the elevator. Possibly, the leftover "Festered Meat" on the walls, floor, and so on, could be building up more possible Figures into further rooms. Of course, many people had died and left flesh, but it just reminds me of the "Spider Monster" from Stranger Things S3 (It was just an idea don't start hating me for that plus, they both look similar.). So yeah, that is my theory there for that.

I think that figure used to be bigger and stronger but while traversing through the hotel he lost his own flesh becoming weaker

I have a Theory here: If any of you guys are aware, there is a secret text on the crucifix animation (OneOfTheThreeArchitectsMarkedByCelestialsAssistsYou). I believe These 3 are a Cyan Light, a Lime Light, and a Red Light. The Cyan Light, as we Know is called Guiding Light, or that's what the name of the soundtrack is. The Lime Light can be Similar to Guiding Light Except Instead of Guiding, they would... Aid? It would depend on the name, but as for the Red One, They Appear on the Failed Crucifix Animation. They could be like Guiding Light, but Towards the Entities. However, I could be completely wrong about the Red and lime light and figure and seek are just strong. Also, if you guys are Wondering about Curious Light, I'm Talking about Door's, not Room's as Curious Light is only Present in Room's. Yes, their sparkles can be seen and heard at A-000, but still.

What I think is maybe floor 2 was like a underground lab to do experiments and stuff, and maybe the hotel would capture people to use their flesh to make figure. Maybe that explains why there is a rift downstairs and how the area is heavily protected. (Edit) Maybe those stratch marks on the wall can be el goblinos since he is the only entity with with claws and 3 fingers.
