Hello Friends,
On this episode I join one of Captain Mike's snorkel tours off the coast of the world famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu on Oahu.
You can book one of these tours here: www.cruisediamondhead.com/
The boat we went out on, Maori Warrior II will always hold a special place in my heart as it was the boat that brought Triteia into a safe harbor after a very difficult passage! Thanks again to Mike and his crew for the tow and for taking me out on this wonderful day of snorkeling.

The mooring set up is as follows. Two 15’ lines with eye splices at each end cleated off. One end has a D-Ring connecting them. On the D-Ring is also a super heavy duty snap shackle for ease of employment. And there is a 6’ line with a fender attached. Kimberly or crew will jump in once the boat is on station and run a separate tag line through an eye splice with a thimble ( usually ) bring it back up and grab the fender line to her and attach the threaded tag line to the snap shackle. The fender is optional but, we have found that in tougher conditions it makes retrieving the bridal much easier. Easier done than said 🤙🏼

Yes Oahu is paradise! I went there many years ago and would love to go back.. Had relatives that lived there back then, unfortunately they decided to sell their house and move to the mainland.. I was like are you guys crazy to give up paradise for Tennessee...

I am in awe of your adventures. I was born in Redondo Beach CA in 1964. But have lived most of my life here in Oklahoma. But they can't take the salt water that still runs through my veins. Peace.

I was pumped to watch the mainland to Hawaii passage. Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone. I’m digging this channel, I caught your interview with Andy and been watching ever since. Your vibes cool. I believe you said your passage back will put you in San Francisco, looking forward to seeing that. Wondering if you’d hook up with Moxie marlinspike when in the city, seem like you two would get along
