One Shot Kill Dagon Sniping With 6x Volt Weapons in War Robots

Something really important to note – the footage was cherry-picked. While the build itself has the potential to do a lot of damage, it really suffers on maps with a lot of cover and if the enemy is running tanks. When I faced a team with tanks such as Curies and Ochos this setup died very quickly as it didn't have the sustained firepower that Blight has. Blight is also more versatile which means you can run those weapons on other bots such as Khepri, Nether, Hawk so you're investing into multiple setups rather than one specialized build.

The Volt sounds funny because it sounds like letting go of an elastic band when you fire! Lol. Though the damage isn't super strong I actually think it's one of the more effective snipers in the game right now. Great for countering Crisis other Dagons and any other shielded bots. The reload is super fast with powerman skill. Shieldbreaker is perfect for that build too. The problem is when brawlers get up close.and personal. You would die pretty quick then. I would actually run this set up though. I don't have six maxed Volts though and though it works I don't think it's worth the expense of maxing out six Volts. Definitely a fun set up though!

When i play TDM i use a Spectre Wolt build and it's actually doing a good job. With the extra damage from the ability it can even one-shot kill some bots

Adrian. Do you think Blight or Magnetars are a better build for the Ophion?

I have a issue running this build. Forcefields eats the damage like crazy. Like on a lynx and seraph i barely do dmg on the first salvo. Does alternating the shots help at all?

Given your caveat about this setup, there are a lot of players who fancy themselves as great snipers/campers…but just aren’t. They’re the ones who will stay in their camping bots too long, and lose the match for their team. But for those select few who are proficient at sniping (and I am definitely NOT one of them), I can see how this setup would really be viable.

Hey Adrian I have a question. If why not replace the second nuc amp and last stand with two thermos? I understand the last stand yes but your pilot skills are not all dmg based. (Is it because of the daredevil skill? If so I don't run it) Would it make a difference if you put a nuc amp and two thermos along with all dmg based skills? (don't forget mechanic skill)
