“That’s a double if you’re still in love” classic, this guy understands all aspects of life

We're proud to be the builders of this great yacht! Thanks for the nice video!

Skip is a Master Sailer. He's been in the Windiest, Coldest, Biggest Swells, most unforgiving Ocean environment for decades. The stories this man could tell about Cold, Wind, Ice, Rolling, Pitching...

I work on the yard that build this ship, my colleague and I did all the electrics and navigation equipment. It was my first project when I started working there last year. It was an awesome experience, and I've learned so much during the building. It's really something special to see it in the water, all functional and ready to go!

Having sailed all my life as an amateur and professional including single handed Atlantic crossing, I have never seen such a well planned sailing yacht. I'd give any thing to join her as crew or passenger. Congratulations to all of the team who have made this possible, may you all have great memories and adventures.

When you've been sailing for a good while and you think you have a well laid out boat, then you see something like this and realise you have a lot of room for improvement hahaha. Very very enjoyable video. And even if you wouldn't know who Skip is you can tell he's the real deal from his high density moustache.

5:55 Love how the hand wrench is used for everything. I just love when engineers actually work in combination with the practical end user. You get brilliant engineering and features like that.
  • Sweet engineering. No frills, maximum function, finest materials, all modern technology.

Whenever sea conditions are getting rough, virtual Skip Novak activates in my mind and giving me the instructions with his calm voice. Thank you sir, for all the knowledge and confidence you gave us.

One of the best sailing videos I have seen. Incredibly fun to watch a video where he who presents the video actually knows what he is talking about. Great video and a very impressive boat/Ship.
  • "What more do you need". So true. The design and build is exceptional.

The pinnacle of Skip's Pelagic concept... Along with Tony Castro and K&M the dream team have created the most competent sailing vessel afloat... I would hope that the concepts and ideas trickle down to manufacturers building so called "Expedition boats"... 👌🏻
  • I never get tired to see this video! What a dream boat!!! Skip Novak is an inspiration!

Practical with a capital P. Function first, form second. Love it!
  • @arumrunner
Steve Dashew would approve! What a capable vessel. I had a Tony Castro designed CS30 back in the '80's. So happy he is still at work in his craft. Cheers

Lovely boat, clearly evolution of previous yachts and practical in all details! As a Dutchman, proud that this was build in Makkum, the Netherlands.
