That sounds like it deserves a video, no? On its way! Stay tuned for Is it Worth Switching from White Rice to Brown? (nutritionfacts.org/video/is-it-worth-switching-fro…) (It was actually supposed to go first but I made a mistake and messed up the order).

I switched over to brown rice years ago when someone told me about short grain brown rice, much more palatable. Now I mix my brown rice with black and red rice

Love to mix white & brown rice in my cooker. Also add shredded mushrooms, carrots & onions. Maybe a bit of saffron too.
  • @Boogieforme
Doctor, I've refrained from eating too much brown rice because of the arsenic that is in it. Have you got any additional info on that?

Thanks for the tip about putting a handful of lentils in the rice in the rice cooker. Koreans often make a mixed grain rice but you must soak it first.

  • I prefer white rice if I'm making a curry, but lately I've been craving brown rice. I also love to change it up with wild rice, and black & red/pink rice. Any rice is life! 🍚💪
