You playing the $99 piccolo sounds better than me playing $3000 piccolo, that's for sure.
-
no one: piccolo: EEEEEEEEEEEEE
-
See? This is where the corona quarantine is taking me
-
Yours sounds much better to me. The new one would be great for a beginner.
-
The difference between cheap and expensive really comes down to minute things, but I like this option for people who just want to play around with one
-
The affordable $100 piccolo would be nice to allow a young family member to have fun with with less worries .
-
It’s half past midnight, I have class tomorrow, just got out of my shower and now I’m watching a woman playing a weird flute. What is life.

Musicians: piccolo Me: mini flute

The 99$ piccolo has more of the hissing sound. Your 3000$ piccolo is clearer. Keep up the good work on the vids! (Especially the editing XD)
-
It sounds like a fair Piccolo for the money, but clearly your's sounds so much nicer. The question is, does it sound over 3 grand better? Probably not for most players, unless they are professionals or a student at a higher level....that also has the money to invest in their instrument.
-
The piccolo for 3k sounds way better by far, the sound is more crisp and the transition between notes is more fluid .
-
As a general rule for musical instruments, buy a cheap one until you get good.. you shouldn't even think about an expensive instrument until you covered your scales and practiced hundreds of songs..
-
I don’t know why this was recommended to me but I’m very grateful!
-
I thought Piccolo was the green guy from Dragon Ball
-
Your piccolo most definitely sounds nicer in all ranges.
-
Every time I hear that song I think of Bugs Bunny giving Elmer Fudd a haircut and shave.
-
Yours sounds much warmer and richer.
-
Of course yours sounds better but for $100 it is one I would take camping or on a float trip.
-
I don't think I'd play the Eastar long term in a concert band or in an orchestral setting, but for $99 it's not bad. Would make for a good outdoors/travel piccolo or those occasions when the director wants everyone in the section to play the Star and Stripes solo on piccolo. So I think it would be better for the more occasional piccolo player on a tight budget. Our piccolos are siblings. I currently play on a Yamaha 82 piccolo with a Mancke headjoint. :)
