Two things: 1. If I look tired, its because I probably am. Thanks for pointing it out haha.. 2. I was reluctant in making this video partially because I don't want any sympathy. I just wanted to normalize not being 100%, 100% of the time. Stay safe, see you soon <3

Most of the people who are subscribed to your channel are not just fans of your content. We are first and foremost fans of YOU. We love the videos, both magic and puzzles. But the things that make us love them are not whats being shown, it’s the guy showing them. Take care of yourself and stay well, because we all love you ❤
  • @KurokawaShiro
Thank you for sharing. As someone who goes through low moods, particularly around autumn, and also attempting to finish 50k words of writing this month, the creative struggles are very real and shared. More power to you for pushing through and publicly posting something anyway, which is much more than most, including myself, get to.
  • @lucrezia909
Thank you. I know it's hard. Lately I've been dealing with the same nasty stuff, it feels worse than usual. Take some time for yourself, but don't forget that friends and us here are good to cheer your up if you need it. Stay strong. 💪🏻
  • @stormycat0905
Brother don't be so hard on yourself. We all go through this. Sometimes you just need to hit the pause button and take some time to refocus. Be well to all.
  • @levanahdr1991
I understand what your going through Brother, you're never alone! It's always so appreciated when strong men speak out about these kind of things, so genuinely well done as it helps others to continue to speak their truth also. (I write poetry when I feel that way and this helps, maybe you can give it a bash too). Big love, Lev :-)

Hey dude, fellow Canadian Chris who suffers from high functioning anxiety and depression. Just wanna say you personally inspired me to learn some basic cardistry, which I have found helps me tremendously with my anxiety. Just wanted to say thank you for being such a genuine dude
  • Thank you for being you man! Open, vulnerable, It helps to know that even people you admire go through the same struggles you do. I'll be a forever fan! Love the content love the new cards. Can't wait for the next thing you have in store!

Just be gentle with yourself. We all have our ups and downs and sometimes the downs really REALLY sucks. We all understand and have been there. Just dont push yourself to do something because you may believe that as your subscribers, we have to have your videos. I've been subscribed for years and when I had down times, you had no idea but it helped me to watch your content. Find what brings you back to you in the best way possible, in your own time.
  • @brucegoatly
Thank you, Chris, for your honesty and courage. Stay strong.
  • @ChromeVader
Thank you for making this video, so that those of us who sometimes go through similar things don't feel quite so alone. I always love your videos, and I hope you feel better soon.
  • @squeak2455
Appreciate the brutal honesty Chris. It's good to hear that we all struggle with these things from time to time. I've been dealing with some stuff myself and I've been trying to figure out how to get through it. I hope things improve for you soon. We're all happy you're here making videos for us!
  • @donnaqem
Respect for your candour and honesty. My daughter suffers from the same as you. Listening to you helps me understand her a bit more. Blessings to you 💜
  • @ahambrahmasmi108
Thanks for being so genuine and transparent. I'm an artist-oil painter- and lost my mom a few months ago. I also battle with addiction. Seeing and hearing you surely helps me put my lonely self into perspective. Hard to be creative, but we press on!❤

I suffer from SADs too. I have this little ritual I do (not saying you or anyone should do this...just mentioning it) for the 6 weeks leading up to Winter Solsltice that helps me get over the down/darkness that the lack of Sun often brings to those of us who live in the North. It's called Sunwait. Every Thursday evening for 6 weeks straight, I light a candle, meditate, and think about all the little things that I am grateful for that I might take for granted. My support system, my home, my job, the crisp winter evenings when the stars seem brighter, coffee, good meals around a table full of good friends, chocolate, squirrels, etc. Then I put the candle out, and the next week I light two candles. By the end of the 6 weeks, I am up to 6 candles burning at once and the light and the heat and the gratitude help lift me out of my funk. Maybe you can come up with a Sunwait ritual that you can do! Something private...just for you :) ❤ Thank you for sharing your vunerability. We've never met...but you are one of my favorite human beings :)

Chris, you are such a beautiful soul. I immediately fell in love with watching you solve puzzles about 3 years ago and was hooked. You are the only puzzle solver that I am subbed to because of the way you take us through the experience of the solve. Please take care of yourself as you are first. We will always be here for you. My husband just went through cancer surgery yesterday and can't wait to get out of the hospital and watch one of your videos. They cheer us up and take our minds off of our problems. Thank you so much for that. It is immensely appreciated. See you soon as you're ready but please take your time, no hurry. Love you Sue and Gord and kitty Oakley. 👍💯✌🇨🇦♥️♥️♥️♥️🐈
  • @eddenis8934
Brother, I go through the same thing. I just breathe through it. The fact that you shared is dope. You're a real real one. Thanks Chris.
  • @metern
Chris, the way you solve the puzzle and narrate during them and the stories is the reason why you are the best puzzle channel on YouTube. And the magic tricks you do. Is slo funny and cool. You're the best. 🖖
  • I appreciate you and your honesty. We are all going through things and we all need to push through. We all love you brotha your the best.
  • Thank you for being vulnerable and honest with us and still showing up. Wishing you all the best!
