I know how this feels. But your are somewhat in luck compared to me. My neighbors are usually never home 90% of the time for work and they go out on weekend vacations. They have 4 dogs (Yes 4 DOGS) that bark ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT and I cannot sleep. To add to that, every time I go into my backyard they will all go crazy and start throwing themselves at the fence, trying to smash it. It would get even worse the closer you get to it. I am in a school program which requires a lot of studying for extremely important exams and the barking does not help at all. And to add to that, every yard guy in the neighborhood is TERRIFIED of these dogs to the point they will refuse to do our yard. Even the yard man who helps lots of homeowners get the Yard of the Month doesn’t want to do it, and I do not blame him. I have to study a lot and do not have the time to fertilize the yard. Our yard is starting to become withered thanks to this. I am thinking about trying this out before I go insane. I live next to a bunch of idiots

That’s why as soon as I got a new neighbor with a barking dog I immediately started calling animal control. People don’t respond to pleasantries

I feel ya man. Bought my first home 2 years ago and happened to move next to the worst dog owners in my valley. Countless sleep and income lost. Literally 100's of legal complaints to the city and they'll still do nothing about it. These type of dog owners don't deserve God's animals.

I have trash neighbors (four of them) and the ones behind me left their 2 dogs out when they went away for the weekend and it got to below zero and they were tied up on a chain with no shelter. I removed them with a friend using his cargo van and took them across town to a friends county house. The second neighbor had his high pitching pup outside at 3 am on a weekday and i banged on the street side of his house waking him up and told him if that dog was ever outside barking again, his dog would disappear....problem 2 resolved. The other one i found out the landlord and got him evicted as he had too many issues with him. The fourth one got 4 different notices from the city and they got rid of the dog. All of this happened in under 90 days. I being a former dog owner for 14 years, I never ONCE let my dog ever annoy anyone as I have something called decency. Your neighbors dog just needs to be removed.

I know the feeling Bro. At the old house my neighbor had 3 dogs. I felt like I couldn't joy my backyard

No person should have to put up with this for the sake of a damn dog.

Neighbors that moved in a month ago with 2 German Shepherds and it’s non stop, my old dog can’t even go outside she’s so frightened. Quality of life for us is gone. I got one of those things delivered yesterday and I pray it helps. They bark at 5 in the morning right into my bedroom window.

Nothing bothers me more then dog barking I understand where you are coming from. I think people are so INCONSIDERATE to let their dogs bark the way they do. Its like a parent letting their kids scream all day throughout the neighborhood and not try to even stop them. Its just rude! If someone has a dog they should train them not to bark excessively. It destroys the peace. If I had a dog I would train it not to be like that. Barking is much worse then loud music.

That seemed to work pretty good. I can imagine that barking can get to you, especially when you are trying to enjoy your own yard.

20 years ago we had a neighbor feed some Prestone burgers to his neighbors barking dogs and shut them up permanently. He did go to jail a couple days too.

I know how this feels. I live right next to a ghetto townhouse kinda home with 4 dogs barking all day and night. Can’t sleep or do anything. I have to go to a hotel to sleep. This is such bullshit

My neighbor's dog has been disrupting our peace and tranquility for over a year. That thing is a domestic terrorist to my neighborhood.

why can't dog owners just keep their animals under control?

My entire neighborhood is average 5-10 dogs per household in a 100 yd square area of 50 houses. They constantly bring in more dogs. Most wouldn't know how to turn an electric guitar into a Mic plugged into a 2-12 Can amplifier. My neighbors DIDNT LIKE IT when I recorded THEIR DOGS on my phone put it on a loop for 12 hours run through a 200 decibel system. I left and let it play all night. They don't like playing Bass lines on guitar on a Bass setup.

I have TWO of these and they really work. Here is my question and I am not getting answers by Googling. My question is: When unit is switched to ON does it only come on when a dog barks? Reading it states that it only comes on when a dog barks. I don't believe it. I think when it is on the dog hears it with out barking. I have watched a particular dog and see his reactions to it being on. It does stop him from barking but he goes in circles when not barking and looking at me and then leaving out of range, coming back and leaving again. This unit works at a good distance. I think I am more than 75 feet from the dog and I can tell the way the dog acts that he definitely hears it. He tries to get out of the range when he isn't even barking. The unit I have blinks green every few seconds. I hope this question isn't lost or not answered. Posts are all old.

Unfortunately the laws are for the dog owners and against everyone else. I hope you got some peace. We have dealt with this in The past and have it again now with new neighbors. The dog owners actually believe it is normal for their dogs to bark at little old ladies and every car or person that goes by but it is not.
