blue panda and phantom. thunder is a sonic shockwave triggered by the rapid expansion and contraction of the air within and around the lightning channel. lightning heats the air up to 5 times the surface of the sun(in degrees Celsius), so you can imagine How much air something no bigger than two adult thumb widths has to shift

Does any one know what causes thunder or how it's formed like seriously clouds are water so hows it work i know clouds are electrically conducted could it be the electricity that's in earth itself as a whole and the electricity is released by clouds or what?
