#96【朴の木】まるで“抹茶”　2番玉の製材→手入れまで　[Magnolia tree] looks like “matcha”

毎日危険な作業ご苦労様です、奥様の人柄がしのばれます、有難うございました。

昔ですが金属加工の実習でフライス盤で面削りの時、加工した面をもう一度　カッターで”なめる”のですが・・製材でも鋸をもう一度通すのは同様の作業でしょうね。一度では微妙に刃物が逃げる場合もあってダメ押しで面を仕上げるようですね。 綺麗な黄緑がかった肌を見ていると、子供の頃　木工用に朴木を買うときの慎重すぎる自分　木目は・・色合いは均一か・・・必死な目の子供が思い起こされて苦笑。小遣いも少なかったなぁ・・・・ 最後の手入れ・・・興味深かった！カスガイ、蝋塗り　長い眠りの準備ですね！水色に見えるものは表面保護塗料でしょうか？　純真無垢・綺麗なままで王子を待ちましょう！

We watched No. 96 with great interest, thanks so much for the extra information especially how you prepare the cut wood for storage. You mention something about flat and end grain but do not explain what is being painting on the wood? (blue paint?) and the reason for it....there is mention that it is ok to paint on flat grain, maybe during editing you removed that section of the Video? Can you please fill us in on the purpose of the blue paint? Really enjoying the English Text lines, hard to read sometimes with the pale background but very grateful for the information.🥰
