  • Most of us are FINE with Amanda coming on again and again and again!
  • @IamAkeystyle
This has really become a collaboration that I didn’t know I needed. Another great conversation
  • @kayekaye08
It’s so nice seeing you happy to be at work Funky❤
  • Every time I click on a playback of the live…. I start singing “come on in my room” 😂😂😂🤣🤣
  • @88aimme
Yall will never make me hate Amanda!!!! I luv her whole life!
  • @thisismakie
Public policy person for a living here. This is one of the best break downs on how electoral college works I've seen. Votes do still matter in presidential elections but PLEASE give your state and local elections just as much attention (Governor, District attorneys, school board members, etc.). That's where it really matters when it comes to you and your family on a day-to-day basis.

I completely agree with Amanda about our relationships with politicians, They should benefit us too. They are relying on us for a vote so we should feel comfortable asking for what we need.
  • @mishc6767
This is where Amanda should have always been! Not in movies, not in celebrity gossip but in speaking to the people. Commentating on current politics and breaking it down for folks. Love this collaboration and conversation. Thank you both! 👊🏿✌🏿
  • @JulBeArt
What an amazing conversation! Funky and Amanda both shared really insightful and essential perspectives. I truly appreciate how Amanda eloquently educated the listeners about the contributions of first-generation African Americans with Caribbean roots. This includes Shirley Chisholm 🇧🇧, Malcolm X🇬🇩, Marcus Garvey🇯🇲, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Susan L. Taylor (former editor-in-chief of Essence magazine), Alexander Hamilton (the first Secretary of the Treasury), Colin Powell (the first person of colour appointed as the Secretary of State), James Weldon Johnson (the writer of the Black National Anthem), and many others!

I’m happy to see Amanda always!!! Hope she never lets the hate get to her. Most of me and my peers gather around just to watch her to get the real on politics. Gen Z got you ❤️
  • @toofine6
As an ole Poly Sci minor, it was fantastic to hear some of Amanda's points. Now, for SOME of the audience, please ensure you and/or your children continue to explore American politics and comprehend the voting system. Do not rely on the schools to do it. Support freedom.
  • @Go1239w
Sidebar: sisters get those mammograms!!! Scary to hear “ we need more tests” 🤦🏾‍♀️👩🏽🙏🏾🐫🐫🇪🇷🇪🇷
  • @k.s4075
Ms Seals informative commentary is greatly appreciated!
  • I personally appreciate Amanda being here. I've learned so much from the last live, and this one about how oir government truly works.
  • @dbelieve30
It seems Amanda’s motive on last night show was to discourage you from voting for Kamala. This is a radical change from last week, in which we were all galvanized to vote blue, no matter who the Dem candidate ends up being. My hope is that you guys are smart enough to realize that in this moment, we don’t have to the luxury to demand systems are changed before we cast our vote. Our focus must be on keeping democracy alive another four years, and then we could worry about helping the people of Palestine, changing the electoral college. Otherwise, if Trump is elected, there will be no system to change because he’s going to remove the system.

People, please do your own research. If someone is telling you they are not an expert in an area, believe them. I want the same energy/questioning directed toward BOTH parties.
  • None of that palenstine mess matters if Donald Trump is in office and then we are living in work camps. We can’t help Palenstine in a dictatorship. Netanyahu was getting the standing ovation from the Republicans whose Presidential nominee told Israel “to finish the job”. VP Harris denounced destruction to property and antisemitism ( hate for Jewish people) in her letter to the protesters who were promoting Hamas. She then did a press conference with Netanyahu where she said she would not be silent on the inhumanity of the war in Gaza and that a ceasefire should happen now. She told him to get it done. The issues is longstanding and complicated and if they can’t get their county together doesn’t mean we have to destroy ours more than it is
