The toilet backed up into the tub last weekend. I told the wife I had the perfect solution with the strippy chair. So now I gotta fix the toilet.

I Forgot to mention: I had the trailer brake gain turned up to 10 (max) and I almost rear ended a dude (he wanted it) those brakes were sketchy. If you applied the trailer brakes manually (squeeze the tabs) they would hardly put a drag on the truck.
  • As a truck driver for 30 years overall I think you did fine with the straps, chains and binders. Not perfect but okay. When you went to drive the tractor onto the trailer I cringed. Yeah, rear of trailer needed jacks ( or blocks ), but you managed okay. Bonus points for changing the tire yourself. Overall good job. I just started following your channel a few weeks ago and this is all very fascinating. And your sense of humor has me laughing out loud ! 🤣

OMFG. Finding a tractor, a trailer and a truck, all inplaces you looked before. The land there truly provides what you need.
  • Outstanding, borderline funny with tons of useful info!! God bless you Herb
  • Painful to watch but you did start filling your experience bag. Thanks for bringing us along.

I just love the humor of this channel. This is joking around while getting production done. Those catus are a nightmare.
  • I love the aerial view of your place in the opening credits. I would like to find a place like that just have the peace of mind and quiet.

As a JD guy, i paused the vid to say SWEET Tractor. I have a 5075E and would love that grapple bucket.

My wife and I love this channel. Can you show more of Buster! What an amazing story that he was still there almost four years later!

I live in Arizona as well. I usually use a saws-all,, with a big blade for cutting those and use a pair of barbecue tongs to lift it up and get it out of your way I find that works the best.

You are going to love the land plane for the runway and driveway. Really nice set-up.yhe pallet forks are extremely helpful too. I have mine on more often than the bucket.

I was a little skeptical when you first bought the property but you've clearly gone all-in and now, I'm looking forward to watching your progress. Thanks for the laughs as well.

I'm guessing John Deeres have a linchpin but best practise is to put the backhoe to the floor or have it tied off when transporting.. I can never forget the accident in the UK when a backhoe swung into oncoming traffic and decapitated 5 people..
  • I'm thinking that the green forklift thingy parked on the trailer coulda/woulda worked as a trailer jack... 🤷‍♂

Love this! "When you're trying to learn a new skill, you start out with a full bag of luck and empty bag of experience. What you try to do is fill up your bag of experience before your bag of luck runs out."
  • @GrandsonofKong
Enjoying the content!! Have to agree with a couple of others that "maybe" you bent part of your hitch receiver. Give it a close exam once you get the trailer back to Phoenix. Hopefully your bag of luck had a side pocket!
  • @sfc.m
I'm glad you're "bag of luck" still had a reservse when you hit Fallout Ranch. 🤣 Physics is fundamental.

Herb, You did a great job getting your equipment to the ranch, a good rule of thumb for trailering is to have about 10 to 12 percent of the total trailer weight on the hitch. I would ask the rental place for a bit of a discount for wasting your time. John
