I recently saw a description of overlanding as tailgating without sports, but with better scenery.
  • @dirtbillydeluxe
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out the ultimate overland camper! Good luck with your new build!
  • @justingould7348
I bet with being sponsored by BFG they really appreciated the Firestone endorsement.
  • @toddcooper9468
The drone footage just took you from Semi Pro to Pro in a heartbeat. The 3D aspect is so much better. Probably safer for your camera crew as well ! Nows the time to really up your game! You guys are awesome!
  • @kworld429
Hunter. You KILLED it with the drone!!!! Totally awesome views, videos, angles, the whole thing. GREAT JOB.
  • I can vouch for Dirtbilly Deluxe! Shawn and Mike are fun to watch.

Hunter’s drone skills have evolved immensely 😮 good 👍 job Hunter !!!

Those Firestone tires a perfect. They are round, black, and hold air. They appear to have good traction. As for overlanding, back in the day, we had a scout pickup. It was stacked with a tent, sleeping bags, ice chest, camp stove, lanters, and chow. We called it camping and exploring.

When I was young man (a long time ago ) growing up on the farm and soda came in a glass bottle, we would go to town and buy Pepsi and Planters peanuts and pour the nuts into the bottle. It was very common and was a great combination. Brings back memories.
  • @paulhall170
Great drone footage, and wonderfully edited, congrats, Hunter! Once again, on an unfamiliar trail, Paul shows his incredible rock-crawling skills, and his good humour!

All you need to know about overlanding is that you have to pay 10x as much for your gear and you must drive your fully loaded rig to to Trader Joe’s every chance you get.
  • @eh2341
Merry Christmas too all at The FabRats! Don't stress the videos over your holidays. We'll still be here in the New Year❤

  • @moxieoffroadtv
Probably one of my favorite Fab Rats videos. Loving the drone footage and the scenery! Great job guys!
  • @gzrgldr8288
Overlanding is more about building a rig that can handle the highway as well as some light/moderate rock crawling and trail driving. You don't trailer your rig when you are overlanding, you drive it everywhere, camp where you end up for the day and moving on the next day to a new spot, taking as many trails as you can.
  • @roostingthe6520
These comments are awesome! I had no idea overlanding had so much Seattle type influence! I live in Detroit so have zero idea about that stuff.
  • @jasonmanley5287
Ahhh, you’ve done some overlanding before. That trip you did to the Rubicon with Matt was overlanding at its finest. Challenging wheeling, coupled with a long drive IN YOUR RIG (not a tow vehicle!) just to get there!
