This still makes me emotional the respect they have for each other, the fact that neither bad mouthed each other.❤ the kiss Cotto gave Canelo and the way Canelo immediately opened his arms for a hug.

Cotto did great. No shame in this loss at all. Not too many guys survive the Canelo power, it was a competitive fight. Very respectful sportmanship...awesome fight. Two real gladiators

As a Mexican myself I absolutely had Miguel Cotto as one of my all time greats. He never ducked anyone and was absolutely assaulted and cheated in his first fight against Margarito and his cheating packed gloves. That fight took a lot out of him.

I seen this about 10 times and it is always a great thrill! None of these gentlemen lost there legs during the bout! None demonstrated fatigue. It was a great display of power and tactical fighting. I always end up seeing an even fight! Cotto slipped away from a great deal of power punches with an elegant style. He did everything, he rode bicykle, he engaged with Canelo in the middle of the ring. He out jabded Canelo many times and established great combinations, backing up Canelo. These guys are worthy of admiration and great respect!

only 1 clinch in the entire fight in round 12. now you dont see that in other fights. that speaks of the quality of these fighters! pure boxing enthusiasm

I'm a huge Canelo fan, but my respect for Cotto, he showed great strength and composure. Cotto has great technique.

The way Eddy tells Canelo to stop getting cocky and clowning around after the 8th rd. One of the reasons Eddy is one of the best trainers.

The respect for each other at the end was pure class

116-112 Canelo. Great fight. Cotto hung in there all the way thru and made it very competitive actually difficult to score. Two great fighters.

Amazing was Cotto and at times he was a masterpiece considering his age he was a worthy spectacle. Respect.
