Fixing them is one thing but spare a thought for the genius who invented the diesel pump in the first place, unbelievably complex component that is the heart of the diesel engine.

Excellent video. Working with all those chemicals on your hands everyday, you could do with some of those cheap blue disposable gloves. I was the same when I was young but now wear the gloves.

Good to see that in Pakistan absolute cleanliness isn't necessary when assembling a diesel fuel injection pump as Pakistani filth, sand and dirt dissolves in diesel.

Besides cleaning and new gaskets, guess it’s a mystery what was the problem solved. I’m going with leaks as nothing was refurbished or replaced
