Came back to this story and the first word I heard was “Spencer”. The phrase “Spencer Fu**ing Middleton!” comes to mind in an exasperated tone.

I did not expect the story to be based on a real ship - let alone a historic one. As someone who is a fan of ships, it is exciting to listen to characters interacting with the RMS Queen Elizabeth, even if she is presented as a ghost ship.

I once (In around 2015-2016) had the idea for my own ghost-ship-type story/movie. It was inspired by movies like "Ghost Ship", "Event Horizon", and "Triangle". It was to be called "Skies of Terror", and, instead of a sea-going vessel, would feature an airship. It would unfold as follows: While flying over the Atlantic Ocean at night, the crew of a small Cessna plane get caught up in a violent storm. Just as they are losing hope (and fuel), they encounter a huge, rusty zeppelin floating in the sky. Hooking their plane up to its airplane section, they board her and discover that she is the British luxury zeppelin "Royal Sky", which disappeared on a routine crossing over the ocean in the 1930's. Somehow, she has managed to stay up in the air, despite the fact that all of her hydrogen should have long lost its lifting effect. As the crew is exploring the vessel, they realize they aren't alone. Who knows, maybe I will write my own creepypasta about it. Since there are so many movies with this common premise, I don't think it will be a problem. P.S. I do know that by posting this in a YouTube comment, I basically just open a path for anyone to steal my idea, but I couldn't resist sharing it with y'all.

To be fair most people listening to this won’t be ocean-liner nerds like me but for those who are…and for future reference…..there is no officer on a ship called a “pursuer”…..it’s “purser”. That little matter out of the way I loved the story…props to the writer who’s obviously a fellow ship-nerd. Even the deck plans and names of spaces on the ship were pretty accurate for the QE1 (I write “QE1” because there is a QE2 that still exists). The concept is really interesting, I don’t think I’d have the trepidation most of the characters did if Given the chance to stay in 1956 America taking a transatlantic voyage every few years though…..I’d be fairly happy to take that offer.

OMFG, 10 minutes in and I'm fookin hooked. Can't wait for Bone Vics Zoo to be one long episode.
