In 1967 tensions in the Middle East were raised once again after a canal constructed by Syria threatened Israel's water supply. This soon led to a war against Israel with Egypt and Jordan allying with Syria, who were also being supported by Iraq and Lebanon. Despite being underestimated and outnumbered, Israel demonstrated its military prowess and pulled off a swift and decisive victory.

  • Not many people know that Jordan was told if they stay out of the war Israel would not have entered what became known as the West bank. I have been teaching the history of the Middle East for 25 years. If anyone wants to full history of Israel I put all my lectures on my channel. You can't learn the history with a 10 second tik tok

It kind of amazing that there are 15million jews still on earth after the persecution they have faced from the rest of the world for so long. I hope for a far more peaceful future for them especially the 7million in Israel, they deserve peace.

have to add god will forever save israel so its risky for anyone to try again
  • I always thought the war lasted six days because all of the weapons were rentals. And if they weren't back by the weekend they would get charged double. Man, I really need to quit listening to my drunk uncle.
  • Thanks for this video its a war i don't know much about thank you ❤

You know you would think after fighting against Israel for so long the Arab countries would finally get the hint. But unfortunately, this is not the case. The one thing that I have always hated though nobody seems to care about the Israeli side of the question. Nobody takes into consideration the fact that the Israelis have regularly made Offers of certain concessions that would benefit the various Arab nations more than their own if they just be allowed to live in peace. But so many of the Arab countries are so bullheaded that they won’t even budge. Another thing about this is even when the Israelis were caught with their proverbial pants down. They still managed to win in the end. And I think the main reason here is the simple fact that while the Arabs are basically fighting for what they consider a sense of pride, which is complete BS in my opinion. These Israelis are fighting for their very right to survive. These Israelis know that if they lose a war with their Arab neighbors chances are things are not going to go well for them. The Arabs will either round them up and kill them, or they will once again expelled from their ancestral homeland. See what you will about the Arabs having to live there, and the Israelis having no right to live there. Those of you who probably think that likely have never actually looked at the history of the region.

Stuff like this needs to be remembered. With the uproar going on now about the current situation in that region, people need to remember countries and groups have been trying to wipe them and their people off the map since it's founding nearly 100 years ago. Regardless of the circumstances of it, it's human beings there now. People who have a right to exist and not be erased simply because you disagree how they arrived there.

Israel had continued supply of arms and ammunition. Arabs bought arms from Soviet Union. USA provided “military aid” to Israel where as Arab countries had to buy . Not just that , Israel fought for survival so they were more motivated

isIam teaches arabs what to think, not how to think 🤭
  • @grege9862
It is sobering to think that the Messiah walked at some of those very same places which were fought over in 1967.

Nasser had one of the biggest, "F around and find out" moments in history. 1. UN, hold me back bro! 2. Uh, they're not holding me back, ok let's figh... 3. Israel attacks 4. Ow, stop kicking my a$$
