Cersei from casterly rock gets killed by castley rocks. Perfectly foreshadowed

Arya, wearing the face of Dwayne Johnson

If she listened to Eddard and ran with her children they would have all lived but she wanted everything. I think the love of her children is exaggerated in her own mind. She really cares about herself above all else.

If you recall -- when the Lannister twins were born, Cersei was born first... followed by Jaime, who was holding her foot.  When Jaime's hand was cut off, it's almost like the link between he and Cersei was severed as well.
  • Turns out that valonqar has been mistranslated to mean "little brother," when it actually meant "falling bricks."

Almost all blondes hair goes darker when they age, when kids are late teens their hair ceaaes to be gold-blonde and becomes a darker blonde. "Gold will be their shrouds" infers that her kids will die young, in my opinion.

I know I'm late but maybe cersei is so critical of other women's appearance because it also serves as a way to comfort herself that the younger, more beautiful queen that is destined to overthrow her hasn't appeared yet. That way her rejecting other women as unattractive instead becomes her unwilling to give up power.

Or maybe it will just be some rocks lol

I love Cersei chapters. It's so cleverly written. You hear her train of thought and understand how stupid she behaves.
  • @Maplelust
we thought cersei was the most evil in GOT. turns out D&D is.

"A female misogynist" Rarely have I heard a more apt description for Cersei

I’m from the future, can confirm, it ended terrible.
  • Just reread feast of crows. Another Cersie Robert similarity is, Cersie starts to gain weight like Robert did. In one of her chapters she says that her hand maids had ruined several of her favorite clothing and that they had shrunk, she punishes the handmaids for being careless. By itself not much, but the next chapter on her way to the sept for the first time to meet the high sparrow she complains about how her gown doesn’t fit anymore, and she hadn’t worn this gown in a while and can’t blame someone for it’s tightness

The other part of her emulation of Tywin is that she seems to (in the books) only half listen to Tywin's lessons. Like the one about Robert wiping out the Iron Isles. Tywin literally tells Joffrey when he's being Joffrey that you need to both give fire and blood for defiance but then raise people up that bend the knee or else no one would ever bend to you. She just stops at the fire and blood part. It's like she just mimicks what she saw him do without clear understanding of the why. Show Tywin had it right about her: It's not just that she's a woman it's that she's not as smart as she thinks she is.

Alt Shift X: *25 minute video on all the theories and ways cersei could die Cersei: dies in a way literally any other character could, with no narrative purpose
  • I have this weird feeling that whatever happens, everything she's worked for will come crumbling down around her.
  • @NerdTalkDan
This video made me realize that Cersei isn't angry about abuse, but rather that SHE is abused. The concept of hurting others doesn't upset her. It's that she can't be the abuser. She is another embodiment in the ASOIAF universe of those who should not have power.

23:47 Damn imagine if the people being paid millions of dollars to write the most successful television show in recent history were as creative or competent at writing compelling stories as some random youtuber making fan theory videos as a passion project.
