Him performing plug cry brought tears to my eyes. You can tell he put a lot of himself into that song. A lot of pain, a lot of hurt. A lot of trauma. I thank him for putting all of that on stage for the world to see

Watching this again. Why do I tear up when watching this? I don't never cry. His music so real it always hits home. But this live version is even harder for me. Damn gates. My favorite artist ever.

Kevin unapologetically is always his unique self and it is appreciated! His cadences/melodies are unique and I hope he never conform to what society thinks he should rap like 💜

These last few years bin insane...I lost the my dream job, then lost my girl, feel like I lost my kids, and my dad died yesterday ...all in that order unfortunately. But maann when I decide to put Gates on riding down the highway I burst out and cry with so much emotion...Not even a sad cry...Makes me feel like its the theme music to my movie where I'm about to overcome all of this. Suffering is no longer on the table for me, Suicide is NO LONGER on the table for me...Being a "prisoner in my own mind" is something I may always be...But fahsho Gates helps me cope with it. Salute to anybody going through ANYTHING...If you are, I look up to you and I am your fan. Salute to you because you're still here to read this...That means you're fighting. I'm 58 years old and I never really paid attention to Kevin Gates music. But this man is truly a Genius. I follow him now. I love to hear him talk and rap. He's my man. Hopefully to see one of his concerts soon. 💖
