*Norwegian Bliss - Filmed November 2021 & Edited January 2022*

🤗 In this weeks' video I start off the video with a quick chat in the Observation Lounge, located on the front of the ship on deck 15 (only 4 flights up from my Studio Cabin 😊 THEN I finally show you my solo Studio Cabin #11519 and what it looks like for a 5' 4" individual, well 5' 5" if I stretch 🤫 Lastly we take a super quick look at the pool deck just in time to sailed passed what looks like the Celebrity Equinox parked at the end of Los Angeles's Cruise Port - Enjoy!😉 🥰

In last weeks' video I shared what my was like at the Renaissance Hotel in Long Island California. Then I listed off what you'll need to have readily available to ensure a smooth embarkation process - FINALLY I took you to the cruise port for a Pre-Cruise Covid-19 Test, courtesy of Norwegian (added to the bill somehow...), then we ventured off to find my Studio Cabin on Deck 11 by NOT USING THE ELEVATOR 😉 🥰 I hope this series encourages you to plan your own adventures, despite travel anxiety and try something new while pushing your comfort zone 🤗

Getting a studio room on the Bliss for Alaska in the fall thanks for the walkthrough this was perfect.
  • The Studio room looks so nice!! Also cool to see them have a port hole now as well!
  • @Rivercat0338
I just booked a studio on the Bliss for Alaska in the fall. Looks like such a gorgeous ship and much more friendly and thoughtful for solo travelers than the last cruise I did back in 2008!

Well it's very cool that Norwegian has this option for solo cruisers and all the activities and things that go with it. I don't understand why they think solo cruisers wouldn't like more room it's so tiny

Sailing solo on the Bliss in December 2022. I’m really anxious about going solo . All I can do is try and CRUSH IT!
  • great video !! ive been on 8 Norwegian cruises (9th one this April, 2023) and all but one was in the solo cabins, i love them ! But what still makes me kinda laugh is the lock on the "bathroom" door. I'm in the room by myself do i really need to lock that door LOL !! 😂😂

Ty for your video! I just booked my first solo cruise to Bermuda in Dec out of NY on Getaway. I love the studio! Your video really helped.

My thing is I’ve started doing some like I meant to detail and I’m not quick on my feet right at first but when I’ve had time to think about things, then that’s when I start noticing and really see where Norwegion is not being transparent because the whole thing with the studio and the solo was so that you didn’t have to pay for two people well my thing is OK that’s fine then it should be half the price of if you’re doing solo and so what you get a little lounge to yourself for the coffee machine big deal you can get Starbucks and pay like $100 a week but my thing is square footage is 99 feet. You can get an inside cabin that’s a lot larger. I think I looked at one of them it was 135 ft.² it’s much larger you have more room and it’s like for the whole cabin. You can sleep up to four I priced it for the same cruise the same week it was for an Alaskan cruise and it said per state room and it was like $150 moreand the whole thing was about so you didn’t have to pay for double occupancy but the way they’re doing the price and at first they start out per person and then they change it to per state room And they say yeah you get a studio lounge and you get this and you get that but personally I don’t wanna be in a stuffy room where you’re inside the ship no windows I would rather be in the observation lounge I mean they’re really not given the solo cruiser a break at all now as far as the studio or solo balcony cabins, you’re paying the same amount that you would pay for the family for the room I’m talking about just for the room I’m not talking about taxes and all that everybody has to pay that regardless I mean the whole thing is if a state room is going for say $800 inside room and it sleeps for and then it says so much per person that it goes into per state room $889 and they’re only paying $100 more per state room than the solo person. The solo person should be paying half of that Norwegion his really pulled the wall over everybody’s eyes but I research and I’m always checking to see if you’re really getting a deal and it’s not a deal at all. I mean a balcony cabin if you can get a balcony cabin and the state room is only $200 more for two or four people that can sleep in that cabin, and you’re only one person and just cause it says solo I mean Norwegian is not being honest and they’re not being fair and my thing is if they’re gonna do the balcony cabins for solo and charge the same price make it a Haven make those Haven cabins keep the same price on it and give us access to the restaurant and have the espresso machine in the room and the robe and slippers and the upgraded bedding and everything but when you first hear about it most people don’t really look into it they’re like oh great I don’t have to pay you know for two people, but Norwegian is doing wrong. They’re doing wrongand I have a personal cruise consultant at Norwegion and I’ve just figured all this out and I took photograph I mean still photos of the prices and everything and I want Norwegion to be able to justify why they’re still charging solo passenger the same amount of money you’re not giving us a break at all
  • @FraserAtSea
Thanks for sharing this - my first cruise was as a 26 year old solo on Norwegian Escape, and I REALLY enjoyed it - probably still my favourite to date! These rooms look beautiful! Also, I've subscribed to your channel as a fellow solo - good to e-meet you! :)
  • I just booked my cruise on the Bliss in the studio yesterday. So excited! Random question, but I haven’t seen it on any studio tour videos and yours was the most detailed - are the life vests no longer in the rooms or due to space are they under the bed? Is there under the bed storage?
  • @sheri1972
Hello. Do you remember if there was storage under the bed for a large suitcase? Also does that television put out towards the bed at all? It seems like an awkward angle to watch. Thank you so much!
  • @chezellis
Hi! Great video! Your cabin seemed close to the exit to the main corridor. Do you remember if there was a lot of door slamming noise at night?
  • I had to rent a scooter. Will it fit at the end of the bed
  • @Yoko.Kurama
I'm looking at prices. Studio rooms cost more than regular inside rooms. Is this normal?
