Oregon's 142nd Wing will be the inaugural operational unit for the F-15EX, offering a fresh spectacle for plane enthusiasts in Oregon to behold.

The 142nd Wing of the Oregon Air National Guard is gearing up for a substantial enhancement as it gets ready to shift from the F-15C to the more advanced F-15EX, marking the pioneering transition for an operational unit.

US Air Force Pilots from the 142nd Wing conducted tests on the F-15EX at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. They observed significant enhancements in power, radar capabilities, and avionics, contrasting notably with the outdated features of the F-15C.

  • How many times did the narrator repear "the 142nd wing of the Oregon Air National Guard" but didn't talk about the speed upgrade that was in the leadin. This was just an ad for the 142nd.

These new models can carry more weapons and have extended service life over the previous models. Sleep well tonight. The national guard and USAF guard our skies.
  • Every fighter aircraft to fight for ww3 should speeding of over 5,000 kilometers to be qualify for it, otherwise, it's not a safe for the pilots. Because enemy antiaircraft is faster than 5,000 kilometers per hour.

The US should have bought a thousand of these instead of any F-35 wonder planes. We need a Frontline fighter that has a better than 50% readiness capability. The F-35 is too expensive and not reliable.

Since its fly by wire, why would it not employ a right side stick vs the center stick?? Like the F22, F16 and F35 ??
  • We need the need for speed lol this dude says nothing about the speed of the f15ex all he can say is 142nd wing
