Tomorrow (heartfelt original song) performed on Grafton Street by Kieran Le Cam

Published 2024-02-03
Wrote this a while ago, it's about the journey of realising what tomorrow can mean to you, when you're feeling miserable. First it's a mad hope, anything is better than what you feel now. Then it's reality of the moment, simply staying alive, and tomorrow comes on its own, and finally it's a conscious decision to live the present day, to heal yourself by actually loving the moment. And no longer wishing for tomorrow to come. I'll admit I'm still working on that last one. Probably all of us.

Love out to you

LYRICS:

To all the broken hearts
And all the wounded souls
Let go, let go
Of the pain in your past
See all the future holds
Let go, let go

Mend all the pieces of your broken heart
Forget the words you want to say
Don't let them in, don't let them tear you apart
Tomorrow can be better than today

To all the troubled youngsters
And those who feel too old
Let go, let go
Of your preconceptions
Of how life unfolds
Let go, let go

Follow your path no matter where it may take
Your precious time won't go to waste
Forgive the enemy that lies in your wake
Tomorrow comes to anyone who waits

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh (I counted)
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh, oh oh oh

Become the person that you wanted to be
One day your pain will pass away
A live worth living is a life where you're free
To get tomorrow
You must live Today
I know it's hard but that's the only way

Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh, oh oh oh oh oh

Tomorrow you'll know

The Beatles sang "Yesterday," Kiernan responds with "Tomorrow," another great original. Keep these future hits coming!

Here's a song title suggestion, "One foot in the present." You can do the heavy lifting and fill in the rest.😅
