You should plant a plum tree by the backyard trench. Use lots of fluids and ,gargle with warm salt water, add a very Littlebit of black pepper. Keep your self well hydrated if the sore throat lasts for more than three days you should see a Dr. and get some antibiotics. In the mean time try the home remedies and let the others st home take precautions because it could transmit. I wish both of you a very speedy recovery 🙏. Honey and lemon cure sore throat . Squeeze lemon juice in the cup and put a bit of honey and sip with a spoon My granny used to say rub up with vicks and put on the bed an old pillow case and bed sheet. I was raised in Canada, so imagine the smell and laughter. Lol lol lol.
