That lady is an absolute badass! Many, many people would have panicked and become a victim, but she fought back and took the battle to her would-be killer. If I remember correctly, she had some boxing or self-defense training. Take note everyone: most people like to think they will rise to the occasion if violence enters their world, but in all likelihood, they will fall to their level of training. No training = inability to defend oneself if a situation calls for it.

She ran at him. I think she must have lived through terrible trauma with her husband. Most people flee or freeze. Fight isn't usually the first response. Our brains try to keep us safe and running at a stranger with a weapon in an empty house is definitely her over riding that narural response. She experienced the trauma long enough she was able to become desensitized to fear. Good for her!!!! Ed thought a middle age housewife was an easy take down. She same day shipped him to Jesus.
