When asked what's the most heroic thing he's done he said nothing, but he also said he beat a rapist half to death. I think I would consider that heroic.

This guy was still extremely sharp and didn't miss any detail. Insane how quick he is.. Very impressed on how accessible and willing to talk about his experience he was.

Love that every time anime man lied or falsely led a question he was immediately called out. Mad respect for getting the interview and especially for doing it. Awesome to see someone on the inside explain that even criminal operations are normal people just surviving and only a few are genuinely violent

The Yakuza member is actually such a good example of showing how to get straight answers from people. I used one of the methods today (restating what we are talking about and respectfully telling the person to stay on topic) and it fricken worked!!

The guy just had this aura of power and character that I've seen on nobody, the ability to deflect pointless questions and explain why they're pointless while being both intimidating and respectful at the same time is downright impressive
