//LYRICS//
It’s getting later
I’m getting colder
My head keeps spinning
And I can’t get high
I thought I told ya
I’m never getting older
Dreaming till I wake up and die
I wana take it slower
But I’m going know where
Numbness never felt so right
It keeps changing so fast
How do I make this feeling last?
The truth is I won’t ever know why

Why? Why? Why?

It’s getting harder
Comatose seems smarter
At least that’s what I keep telling myself
And these clouds they roll in
Tryin to keep my skin thin
Freezing never felt so right
It’s easy to be
Who you never want to be
Locked up inside your own life
But just like I told ya
You’re never getting older
Dreamin till we wake up and die

Why? Why? Why?

I’ll never forget the first time I heard this song. Laying in bed head in pillow, this song randomly came on, I lifted my head up with a smile and realized life wasn’t so bad.

This song feels like flying uncontrollably through the air, out into space, through the universe, with absolutely no fear or feelings aside from awe

It's a cold rainy Monday and I'm in bed dealing with a particularly rough depression but this song with intermittent deep bass-y thunder and rain pitter pattering on the roof is a whole vibe that words don't really do justice. Stunning piece of music we've all found though. I hope life is kinder to yall. 💖

  • Damn, I always find these absolute gems in some of the darkest parts of my life. Music like this gives me just enough faith to keep around and tough it out. Maybe it's not all bad, ya know?

I listen to this every single time when I want to escape reality. Helps me cope with bad thoughts and feelings. Definitely one of the songs I will never get tired of.

This song means a lot to me because it is attached to an unforgettable month in my life: April 2022. My heart was broken the first time, I went on a trip with my friends and had a special exam all in the same month. This song reminds me ofthe body mist my friend bought with a tea and lemon flavor, the taste of that chocolate cake I bought randomly at the mall, and the smell of rain and sunshine. It also reminds me of how hurt I was ,realizing the boy who I liked never had feelings for me.
  • The guitar solo is to die for. One of my most favourite ones.
