In 1982, Hong Kong police raided the home of a taxi driver named Lam Kor-wan and discovered a horrifying collection of evidence that would link him to the recent disappearance of 4 local women. Having harbored secret necrophiliac fantasies for many years already, the evidence found included jars of female human organs in his bedroom. Hence, this case became publicized by various nicknames including "The Jars Murderer" and "The Rainy Night Killer." Ultimately, it marked the first known serial killer in Hong Kong's history, and to this day still ranks amongst the most shocking homicide cases the city has ever recorded.
