Prima Nocta - Braveheart
Published 2022-07-22
William Wallace is the medieval Scottish patriot who is spurred into revolt against the English when the love of his life is slaughtered. Leading his army into battles that become a war, his advance into England threatens King Edward I's throne before he is captured and executed, but not before becoming a symbol for a free Scotland.

I watched this when I was still pretty young and didn’t understand what was happening but even then I could feel the anguish between the bride and her lover. It’s one of the most memorable scenes in the whole movie
-
This woman’s feminine energy in this scene makes her look so freaking beautiful!
-
Now, I want to watch Braveheart again.
-
I dont care what anyone says about the accuracy or inaccuracies in this movie. Just look and feel. Braveheart is so well shot, executed, scored, how can you not get swept away??

Chills, so angry, but the MUSIC is so good - Prima Nocta

The first draft of Wedding Crashers didn't go down well...
-
Well, the good thing is that scholars have concluded after almost 2 centuries of studies that “Prima Nocta” was basically a myth that was never enforced. So there’s that.

too me the most heart breaking scene in brave heart was when that English magistrate publicly executed Murron with her looking around at the woods in tears for her husband who never came too save her. 😢
-
Glad he got payback on that guy latter on.
-
No Hollywood movie ever glorified pure femininity such as this scene alone. THIS is a strong woman.
-
Great movie and this track is great!

1:32 “I’ll be okay. Everything will be okay.”
-
I'm so gonna try this at the next wedding I attend. I'd probably get my arse laid low but its worth it.
-
"it's my noble right" 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
-
No wonder they hate the English
-
It is... My noble riteeee!
-
I just realized the English officer is the guy from game of thrones. The Frey

This clip is a great example of the power of divine feminine energy (exemplified by the wife) and it's ability to heal the mascluine energy. (Exemplified by the fighting husband and soilders). No scotsman likes the situation, but the divine feminine accepts and endures and soothes, even herself. I tear up almost everytime.

i remeber this well, and it didnt hapen this way

Well, that’s one way to ruin at celebration.
