For those who never had this. The Flavors are Savory, Herby, Smoky, with the Perfect Amount of Sweet and Saltiness. Meat is Tender, and Moist. With a Nice Citrusy Lemongrass Crisp Char on the Outside.

Khmer Beef Sticks Recipe:

1 Pound of Chuck Roast
3 Tbsp of Oyster Sauce
3 Tbsp of Fish Sauce
4 Tbsp of Honey
2 Tbsp of Chicken Bouillon
2 Tbsp of Shaoxing Wine (optional)
1 Tbsp of Vegetable Oil
3 Tbsp of Paprika
5 Tbsp of Kreoung Lemongrass Paste
1/3 of a Cup of Chinese Char Siu BBQ Seasoning Mix
1/2 Tsp of Chili Powder (optional)
1/4 Tsp of Salt

Kroeung | Lemongrass Paste

Smash Herbs 👇🏻 into a Paste with a Pestle Mortar.

20 Garlic Cloves
1 Piece of Peeled Turmeric (2-3 ounces)
5-7 Stalk of Lemongrass (use lower end of stalk)
2-3 Thinly Sliced Galangal
20-30 Pieces of Kaffir (makrut) Lime Leaves.

* Soak Bamboo Skewers for 1 Hour or Overnight. This will help the Bamboo Stick from Burning.

Instructions 📝

1. Thinly Slice your Choice of Fatty Beef.
2. Season Meat.
3. Cover with Plastic Wrap.
4. Marinate in Fridge for 4-6 Hours or Overnight.
5. Place Meat 🥩 onto Soaked Bamboo Skewers 🍡
6. Grill 3-5 Mins on Each Side for a Nice Char.
