Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) defeated Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland with a knockout victory in nine rounds.
He retained the unified WBO, IBF and WBA heavyweight belts, the titles that Usyk had won from, and defended against, Anthony Joshua.
But Usyk had to weather immense pressure to win, and pick himself up from the canvas after sustaining a shot the referee deemed was a low blow.

Do casuals understand that a low blow isn’t a punch in the balls? It’s naval and below? That was blatantly a low blow (after many more and being warned for such).

Usyk is literally a great talent. When he wants to hit you, he just hits you with a k.o. punch. He's fast, strong, and technical with incredible physical strength.

For Usyk this fight was nothing other than an elevated sparring session. Were it not for the low blow it would have been a nice bixing lesson for Dubois.

You don’t recover from a body shot that fast and the body stays weak for the rest of the fight

Usyk’s jabs should be scored as power punches because damn! He packs some serious power in that sharp right jab.

Usyk has a nice looping right hook/jab where he used it over the top of Dubois jab very effectively. He also was able to paw at Dubois' jab pushing it down while he threw that right jab/sweeping hook. Great mentality and a really quick recognition and adjustment. Incredibly smart in the ring is Usyk.

It didnt look super low but his INSTANT reaction says that it was low. Body shots are slightly delayed.

Не понимаю почему Усик выиграл. Там был нокаут и удар не запрещённый. Всегда был фанатом Усика, но после его высказываний о России и моём народе, после предательства православной церкви перестал болеть за него. Надеюсь Фьюри разберёт Усика на атомы.

Any hit below the trunks is illegal half of his glove hit below the belt. Quit making excuses for a guy who got out boxed the entire fight. The only time he did any damage was when he hit him illegally. I've been hit in the junk with a hockey puck and I acted the exact same way. i went straight down lost my breath and shook in pain. These are all common reactions to getting hit in the junk.
