The only logical path forward from here is a drone-mounted trebuchet.
-
A trebuchet without a counterweight? Do I smell filthy catapult?
-
The magnetic magazine and sling holder are my favorite part. Very clever!
-
"Youth trebuchet crime in London increases 300%" - Tomorrow's headline
-
So we have 1/10th scale of the original trebuchet. Now I want to see 10x scale of the original one.
-
You should inprove it. In the wise words of The Slingshot Channel, "lets add even more rubber of course!" Followed by a laugh that rocks the mountains
-
Got a notification from Tom Stanton and it took me to Jörg Sprave's channel. WTF!?!! :-)
-
Now we only need a fully automatic version
-
"But can it launch a 90 gram projectile 300cm?"
-
Missed an oportunity to say "Let me show you its features" anywhere in the video
-
Imagine trying to rob him and he just pulls out this
-
Oh! It was the small trebuchet all along! I've been pranked!
-
Can't wait to see this in a medieval movie.
-
Dual wield these suckers, and do some Matrix gunfights!
-
5:40 you need a tactical scope on that, for better accuracy 😂
-
The part where the can fell over from the wind while you were reloading had me laughing really hard
-
What I found interesting was the way the projectile stops the arm halfway through it's stroke as it flicks around. The magnets were a clever idea. Also appreciated your edit that superimposed the two designs.
-
We need you to release stls so we can 3D print the grip, arm, and wheel!!! We could create an army.
-
It makes me happy that there are people out there like me that genuinely enjoy quirky small scale science like this. Like, I was just as excited as Tom was when he hit the can!
-
i'd like to see accuracy/consistency-test where you mount it in a clamp and map 10 or 50 or however many you could be bothered to do :P
